It may be old news to some of you on here but to you Clock Tower fans out there who might not know, there is a remake currently under development by an indie group. It is in its beta testing phase right now according to the developers. I'm really excited for this and wonder what other fans of Clock Tower / horror in general think about this.
Getting more info on the game is enough, just a simple google search away. I figured I would put this topic in my guild as well as the gaming discussion forum (which has videos).

I really like the Clock Tower series. After hearing about the new game I had to look it up. It's supposedly a fanmade game that has been under development since 2009. I really hope it turns out well and is super scary. whee

Neat! Amazingly enough, the first one is the only one I've played. I downloaded the ROM years ago, and floundered around while getting killed by little men and mirrors (who knew checking your hair could get you strangled?) I really liked it, though I never did try to track down any of the titles that came to america. I'll have to watch this one!

thor1005 Hiya there :3 to be honest I've never heard of the Clock Tower game(s)... sounds interesting though. details please? [: Sure thing. The original Clock Tower was released in Japan during 1995 for the Snes and later 1999 on the Playstation and WonderSwan. You can run it on an emulator easily enough but you have to patch the game to English. Clock Tower is a stealth-based survival horror adventure video game series,[1] created by Human Entertainment and continued by Sunsoft. The series plays like a horror film and unlike some of the other survival horror games, the Clock Tower series does not focus on shooting creatures or using violence, but rather using the player's surroundings to hide and escape while solving puzzles and following the twisting storyline. The main character is usually quite helpless compared to the villains, so the main emotional connection to the game is the fear of being captured or discovered. (Wiki) Personally the first game (First Fear) is my favorite which is why I can't wait for Remothered. Clock Tower is a great game for people who enjoy old school horror, and probably one of the few Snes games I've seen that has blood in it at one point. (it was a big deal back then xD) I hope this answers your call for more details but if not feel free to ask more about more specific things.
