I pre-ordered Portal 2 on steam, and now it's pre-loading so I can play as soon as it's released. There's also talk of it possibly being released on the 15th instead of the 19th, maybe Valve time has started to flow backwards? o.o
Anyone else pre loading/already pre-loaded Portal 2? I can't wait to play.

I've only played single player so far, but it's amazing. Took me around 8 hours to beat, and I only got near bored when I got stuck on a few chambers. It's better than the original in every way.

That's how long it took me, and it's definitely worth it. Co-op is really fun too.

Philonious 8 hours is it? is it worth it? If you enjoyed Portal, you'll find Portal 2 to be ten times better. The story is absolutely amazing, no doubt about that.

Played through the singleplayer campaign already; and I'm absolutely loving this game.
It's a shame that the coop mode got infected with the same store thing as Team Fortress 2.

It's a shame that the coop mode got infected with the same store thing as Team Fortress 2. Despite the shop, Team Fortress 2 is still a great game. Portal 2's shop is really nothing. If people want to waste money on in game stuff that doesn't affect the gameplay, I say why not let them? smile

But yep, if you can ignore the store thing, both Portal 2 and TF2 are awesome.

H y p n o t i c Fox If you enjoyed Portal, you'll find Portal 2 to be ten times better. The story is absolutely amazing, no doubt about that. I agree, Portal 2 is definitely an improvement from it's predecessor. The story (including things left to the audience to determine) is amazing, the dialog is very well done, and the levels are very entertaining. I enjoyed it a lot ^_^
