History: Born into a single parent family, Rocky never experienced a father's love for he had died when Rocky was seven months in the womb. The only thing his father left for him was his name, Rocky, an ice-cream his father loved. Since young, Rocky was always jealous of other children who had a father. His mother, the only one supporting the family, was too busy with work that she had little time to nurture her only child. Being stressed with work, Rocky would be caned for every mistake or misdeed, and was left confused. In school, no one befriended him as he was always a quiet child. Occasionally, he would get bullied but he never cried. As he grew up, he sank deeper into solitude and became rebellious in an attempt to grab his mother’s attention and love. However, things did not change. Finally, he had enough. He wanted to escape, but he had no idea where to go. A day before his 18th birthday, he heard rumors of place called Nirvani Island and there would be a ship leaving for Nirvani the following day. Alas, he thought, my chance. Taking only his headphones and music player, he sneaked out of the house before dawn. Shutting the door silently behind him, he put on his headphones and turned on his music. Just as he was past the gates, he took a moment to savour the sweet smell of the night. The world is waiting, and I'm ready!
