They were lucky it was such a nice day out, not too hot and very sunny, because she couldn't imagine doing this if it was stuffy. It figures that the moment she signed Sonja up for the Daffodil girls that their annual bake goods sale would start and that Sonja would be expected to sell just as well as the other girls.
Which is why Sonja was dressed in her new bright yellow Daffodils girls uniform and beret and walking down the the street knocking on doors with herself, which she didn't quite mind since, after it was explained to her, it meant she was now apart of a group, it made her proud. The girls there were really nice and some were different looking like her.
They had just come up on a nice little suburban street with rows of interesting houses, which wasn't so unusual in Gaia. Deciding to stop at a nice two story home that looked promising, Ara let Sonja ring the door bell.

Ritsa was inside the house her favorite orange t-shirt hung loosely around her frame hanging almost off her left shoulder, but she loved it anyway. Her mother had a plastic cup of juice sitting on the table not far off to the girls left. A small cartoon was playing on the Television however Ritsa didn't seem to pay to much attention to the show as she focused on the bear in front of her making it dance about in strange patters. Chehero was in the kitchen chopping veggies into a lunch for her and she was exited to get to eat the food, her mom always made the food look fun. Smiles in pancakes, ants in a boat, her mother was creative.
The sound of the door bell rang through the house overpowering the television cartoon playing in the background. Pausing her cutting Chehero debated having her young daughter answer the door and decided against it. Setting down the knife on the cutting board she wiped her hands off on the apron hanging off her body, she could see her daughter watching the door with curiosity and rose to follow her to the door with the bear attached to her hands. Gripping her mothers pants as the door opened both where surprised at what they found standing in the doorway. "Hello." came Chehero's surprisingly soft and musical voice.
"Fwend?" Rista asked her mother looking at the girl in the door, she liked her hair. However she wasn't to sure about the young girl and hid quietly behind her mothers leg.

"Hi I hope we're not disturbing you. My names Ara and this is Sonja-" Sonja waved enthusiastically, "We're selling some baked goods for th-" "The Daffodil girls! And if I sell a lot I'll get a badge and a prize, and we'll go on a trip to the circus! And-" Clamping a hand around her daughters mouth she smile apologetically. "So are you interested?" She handed a brochure that had pictures of the goodies and a brief explanation of what the Daffodils were.
"It really is a good cause, and there's always room for more. Besides everyone had room for dessert right," Ara kidded winking conspiratorially at the little girl that looked like she might be from d-corp.

Chehero giggled as Sonja started spilling information about wanting to win, the cookie contest. A very natural result from anyone especially children when they were exited about something. Chehero hoped that Sonja would keep her enthusiasm through her life, if she managed to, Sonja would become a great sale's person. Well assuming she didn't spill the information about the prize at the end that was, but could hardly be helped at her age. Amused by the child Chehero stretched out her hand to take the pamphlet from Ara, lowering herself to the children's level. Mostly so Rista, her daughter, would be able to see the pictures of the cookies, and Sonja would have a better time talking.
Shifting so Ritsa could see the pictures easier, Chehero pointed at a couple different choices. "Which one's would you like Ritsa?" She looked at the small girl who by now had edged her way slowly from behind Chehero to look better at Sonja and the cookies.
"Deese on." Ritsa spoke excitedly, finally breaking from her silent shell around the new comers.
"Are you sure?" Chehero asked looking up at Ara with a smile as Ritsa nodded. "It seems she has chosen." Pausing as she rose, Chehero figured it wouldn't hurt to ask a little more about the Daffodils. After all it wouldn't hurt to give her daughter some options.

Bouncing up and down trying to et a better look at the pamphlet Sonja huffed annoyed when Ara hand came down on her head holding her in place. With a roll of her unusual eyes she pushed her glasses back up her face and turned towards the other little girl, with a smile. She had never had a girl friend before and the daffodil girls didn't count cause she hadn't had a chance to even talk to them before they had to sell the cookies.
"Hi! What's your name? Are you from d-corp? I am, I'm a Quoll, that's a mar-souppeeall. It means to have a pouch but I don't have one,so my mommy made me one. What are you?" Sonja was slowly moving forward intent on getting a closer look at the girl.
Ara smiled wryly at the antics of her daughter, "Sorry about how hyper she is, I'm still getting used to her metabolism and seemed to give her one too many cookies with lunch. Thanks for ordering, it's for a really good cause, the girls learn so much about friendship and manners, also charity they sew or make something for hospitals a lot. Its an added bonus that the cookies are so addictive." She said with a warm chuckle, today she was dressed a bit more conservatively going out as a cat girl maid, as opposed to her more elaborate fare.

Mentally Chehero laughed, it seemed she didn't need to ask anymore questions as they were answered without her vocal interest. Opening her mouth to start a conversation with Ara Chehero paused, it was the mention of D-Corp that pulled her attention towards the young marsupial child in front of her. She never would have guessed such a young child to know about the strange and rather manipulative company. Unless... She was a child from there? Stitching her eyebrows together, the mother wasn't quite sure how her daughter would answer the question. Ritsa was only two, her speech was a dead giveaway to her age. The problem however was that Rista didn't understand she was from D-Corp, she knew she went to there for school but that was about it.
Rista beamed at the older girl in front of her, feeling a lot less shy about the new strangers at the door. Taking hold of Sonja's hand, Ritsa immediately began tugging her into the house, she wanted to show her the bear she was playing with.
With that happening Chehero figured it was probably best to invite them in and so she did.

"Sonja honey, remember not everyone that's different from you is from d-corp, nor appreciate the connection and...oh she' not listening me. Why do I bother? She'll figure it out one way or another."
Looking back at her momma Sonja made sure she asked permission even though she was being pulled inside the house. "Mommy can I go play?"
Hesitantly smiling Ara nodded The kidlet was cute, and they certainly seemed friendly enough, couldn't hurt. "Um sure Hun, I don't think I caught your name. You have a very nice home, love the colors."

Chehero watched on with a raised eyebrow though slightly pleased Ritsa had taken to another young child. Turning towards Ara with a smile the older woman extended her hand in greeting. "I apologize if I haven't mentioned my name yet. I am Chehero, my little wormling over there is Ritsa." Opening the door to allow Ara room to move past her into the house. After glancing at the two girls Chehero headed back towards the kitchen. "Are you guys hungry? I was in the middle of preparing Ritsa some lunch."
Bright colors of a strange cartoon played across the glass like screen of the television. Soft noise of children squeaking out voices could be heard with the odd phrase of "lets go over there." Ritsa had pulled on Sonja's arm to lead her over to the table she was sitting at before placing her bear down and prancing off towards a rather large purple-blue toy chest. Pushing it open with a grunt Ritsa pulled out a coloring book and some wax crayons. "Want to color?" She asked Sonja showing her the goods she had pulled out of the chest.

"Um sure I could use something to eat, we were going to get lunch after hitting a few houses but if it's not too much trouble..." Ara said looking around, before awkwardly sitting down on a chair. "So when did you join the club? Your daughter looks fairly young so it couldn't be too long ago."
"Mmm ok. I'm gonna draw a robot," With a smile Sonja grabbed the grey crayon and started drawing, her little tongue sticking out as she concentrated. Reaching up absently she pushed her glasses higher up on her nose where it was starting to slide down.

"Its no trouble at all, Ritsa and I have recently moved here and could stand to make a couple solid friends." Closing the door as her new guest finished entering the house she took a few solid strides back to where she was cutting up various apples, carrots and celery. "The club?" She questioned raising an eyebrow towards Ara. She was sure Ritsa was to young to be enrolled in the same club as Sonja so maybe she meant D-Corp? Was it really that obvious that was where she came from?
"Why Wobot?" the small girl questioned staring down at the paper with a rather transfixed expression. Her eyes following the same lines her new friend was making, her head pulled relatively close to the paper she was working on. "Oh! you need wed." pulling from the box a green crayon she started scribbling small circles in a corner of the paper.
