C:<I'm a b***hWould you believe it if Bela's life been totally boring and unchanged for two whole years? 8D No, neither would I. Bela's life was never short, boring, or uneventful. It just wasn't. Perhaps it as because she was HUGE drama queen, or to something as out there as her sexual fetish, exhibitionism. There was always something going on with her, much to her chagrin. She could never catch a damn break, it seemed!
First of all, she would address her work-related issues and work down from there. The 2nd New Year's Eve was a success, and Bela was thankful of the sheer amount of willpower it took her to get on that stage and dance for all those sicko perverts. That was something huge in and of itself, considering everything that happened to her at a certain Mansion, with a peculiar italian. Some people never came back from that sort of s**t, so it was a rather transcendental thing for her. Although, aside from Xeiro, Alice and Vlad, this would go largely unnoticed. Poor blondie, she never got the credit she deserved over her hard work and sacrifice. Soon after that, a very brief period where she did work, she quit. Handed in her papers of resignation and bid her vanity in the dressing room goodbye, because she wouldn't be able to keep doing that for a while. Alice was not happy with the development, but had no choice but to let her go. Nobody wanted to see a pregnant stripper dancing on the pole now, would they? No, and she'd quite possibly lose customers because of it. It was not a hard decision, all things considered.
Now, moving onto other more personal subjects! After coming to terms with the fact that Keith ran away with Connor, she was shocked and felt very betrayed. But nevertheless, she still cared for the little a*****e. And like any good surrogate pseudo older sister, she forgave him immeadiately. She did not, however, softened her hate for Connor any less. Ah, but enough of Sarah, on to Alice! Ever since Bela left work, she drifted away from Alice quite a bit. It was just so much trouble climbing up those stairs later into her first pregnancy, and later the second, too. Alice did keep in touch, and she was the first one Bela always called when she was hormonal and Xeiro's sarcastic jibes would hurt her feelings. Or, when he ran away from her when she was pissed, too. Nobody but Alice could stand up to Bela, and still stay on her good side afterwards, then. It's not that they cut off, more that the fact that they didn't see each other as much was what really affected them. Same with Gwen.
One person she never expected to find solace, was Vladimir. After their whole little ordeal, he was completely different. And would treat almost everyone differently. Her, in psrticular, like a small glass figurine. Like anything could break her, and she would feel pangs of guilt, sorrow and pity by what they had to go through. It connected them, and made a unique bond. The Ladykiller and the b***h against the world. In another note, she still was quite standoffish and mean to Dante, and nothing changed between her and the tranny. She suspected he was just slightest bit jealous of how his brother acted differently around her, but she didn't care what he felt and went on around her life not bothering about what he did.
Xeiro. Oh, Xeiro. He had to really love her to marry her into the family when they, Mitsuke in particular, was so against their union. Beatrice, well, not so much. Her Wedding was, in cliché fashion, one of the happiest days of her life. It was something private and formal, and nothing was out of place, except Mitsuke and Connor. THe first one she could forgive, but what the ******** was Connor doing there? And even more so, that Keith and Connor tried to steal the show with a kiss of their own! Nonetheless, she quickly foundherself laughing again at Xeiro's outrage. It was a fun ceremony, to say the least.
Now well and snuggly living in the Rameri house, she has nothing to do except be a stay-at-home Mom. She can't cook, can't clean and she's definitely not very qualified when it comes to catering to both her children's needs. She swears that their crying and wailing will make her go crazy someday. As soon as she could get rid of them, she would. Why won't they grow up fast enough?! D'=

Extraordinary
Ah, Gemma~ One could think she was back to sticking against the wall for those two years, but that's not right. In fact, she's been very active. And thakfully, with her job on the Island and nothing but family and a few scarce friends in the outside world, she decided to stay on the Island. Permanently. What had started out as an impromptu and not exactly planned visit, launched Gemma into a whole 'nother life! On this speck of an Island, of all places. Matthew, now an NPC, had released that leash he had on her neck so tightly for her brief time on the Island when she arrived. With 3 years under her belt, though she did spend a few months, mostly around Summer, visiting her family and even hitting up an old friend, Matthew had close to nothing to worry about anymore. He was even unaware of Gemma's plight at work, so it wasn't that hard to guess that he'd become lax and complacent. Not that Gemma actually complained about these things to Matthew, but geez, man, get a grip!
On the flip side, work was horrible to her. Her new boss, Judith, was a total b***h. Gemma didn't like her one bit, but she felt compelled to stay; because of her students and her desire to kick that woman off her high horse. For a long time there has been, and there still is, an antagonistic air about them. Really, who unleashed something as dangerous as Florence Zero on the school grounds? She was mad, mad, I tell you, MAD! This took a toll on Gemma's mind, as she pushed back against Judith. Subtly, at first. And then plain outright, once one of the NPC kids had gotten killed is when the line was crossed. Both women are aware of this, but Judith simply brushes off Gemma's attempts as ineffectual; which is what has her so frustrated on the subject. b***h had a damn good lawyer, that's for sure, to have shot down the 'Cookie' incident so easily. Gemma had even used Cookie as a means of attack, her class mascot, at first, who had 'mysteriously' turned up eaten. Not exactly that surprising, considering how Florence's mouth actually watered every time he saw the growing flightless bird, but all things pointed toward Florence Zero. She should have been a little more torn up about it outwardly, which upset Crimson and Celeste, who she'll get to in a minute, some. Quite frankly, she was even kind of glad the bird was so effectively disposed of. Damn thing was gonna grow too big for any of them to take care of and she thought it best that she didn't get too emotionally attached, anyway. The avian would spend most of his times biting at her, which upset her quite a bit, turning her off to the poor animal. And is it her, or has Judith been just a little nicer to her since then? Who could tell, really? One thing that, coincidentally, brought them to an agreement, was their mutual disgust for Mao Xiqui. On Gemma's part, she couldn't wait for his child to grow up, just so she could stick it to him everytime there was a parent teacher conference. Ain't nothing worse than when Judith and Gemma join forces to wreak havok on the life of one miserable chinese man. About the baby, yeah, she found out about it through Celeste. Having good connections was such a good thing around here, don't you think?
As for her friends, however, things were very... promising. She has invested some time into making time for her friends. Nanami and Crimson were the most noteworthy, but through the latter, she met a cute, younger, woman called Celeste. They were co-workers, Crimson and Celeste, it seemed. And Gemma would often run into the woman, Crimson's work place's secretary-like person, first thing she walked into the building. She would have a file there with Cookie as her pet, but now she doesn't know what they've done with it. They were, if anything, upset to hear the news of Cookie's death. Which must have surprised them with how little it seemed to affect her. Celeste wouldn't know much about it, though she was there, but Crimson had been with Gemma when she got him! He was, like, the surrogate daddy or something, right?
She had more casual times with her other friends, while she was just a tad more serious in her pursuit of Nanami Koyama. Even becoming friends with her brother through their common workplace. He was very boring, all things considered. While with Nanami she tried to seem a little more stable, she was as flighty as ever when she was with Crimson. There was a very distinct contrast in her amongst her two closest friends. She was, however, VERY happy that they knew each other; through her, actually. It had all been on account of the fact that she finally conviced Crimson to get a tattoo, and Nanami was met to a new customer thanks to her help!~ When she got time to think about it, she thought that when Celeste saw it, she'd flip! But, Celeste was pretty easygoing, so that was... improbable, however. Oh well, one could dream, right? Oh yes, two years of, mostly, ignorant bliss and good times.

♠~ Ryder Rameri ~♠ -Can't speak, and therefore, can't have a favorite quote-One would wonder why Bela would name her second, and last, baby something like Ryder...? She'd say it's because a cool girl deserves a cool name, but that's not it at all. It was because, in fact, this little bundle of joy was quite the little active baby even inside her mother's belly. Bela named her like so because of how the little baby 'rode' her like a b***h. And it is also a pun in the future for R(yder) & R(ameri), rest and relaxation, which she will bring to no one in her later years. Far from it, in fact. But for now, she's just another baby.
