To live like you is such a dream
Your silver voice and golden gleam
Remaining unscratched by the sand
All shall wish to hold your hand...

Fiore Halen
The shining star of Aden
---------------------------

Fiore walked down the street following the sweet melody in the air. He soon approached the source of the tune, and found himself looking at a puppeteer. What an odd scene. Fiore wasn't good with faces, so if he had seen the puppeteer, he wouldn't remember at all. The noble looked an saw that he was not the man's only audiance. Among the sad pathetic faces, one odd looking man with interesting black and red hair stood out. He seemed to be standing by a girl with pink hair. Fiore chuckled, and glanced behind him to see that his fangirls had still been following no problem. He smiled widely. Life was good for him. "Fiore." One of the girls asked. "Why did you stop here? It's just a puppeteer." Fiore looked away, and returned his gaze to the man with the puppet. "Girls, you have to understand that good enteretainement is often the entertainement that you don't see often. The greatest musician in the world can become boring if he's the only thing you hear. Puppeteers are rare around here, so this is something new to experience." His smiled never faded as he spoke.

While the girls pondered Fiore's words, Fiore watched the puppet move. "This is actually impressive." He commented snobbishly. "You should take that as a compliment. Around here, what I say goes, and what I don't say clearly doesn't." With that, he pulled a coin from a pouch, and flipped it to the man. It landed beside him, on the sand. "If you're out here entertaining, you need that coin. Spend it wisely, it may be the last donation you get from me. Unless you can impress again, of course." With that, he laughed a bit. Many would think him rude, but Fiore had to be that way to maintain order.

No sleep
No sleep until I am done with finding the answer
Won't stop
Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer
Sometimes
I feel I going down and so disconnected
Somehow
I know that I am haunted to be wanted

Maarick stood on the cobblestone in the middle of an ally of Aden. They weren't in the best part of the city, yet they seemed unafraid. They were hidden well from others, both him and his brother hiding they're aura, seeming only human. It had been about three months since the burning of the Valdigraph's noble home and the theft of the flower....but most of all, three months since Dadrik had split ways with Beatrix. They still had a bit of unfinished business in this town. The real feather which lay under the kingdom in a huge catacomb maze, was still being plotted to steal. As far as Maarick was concerned, no one man should hold the feather, it was basically the cities life force. It was infact what kept the city from being taken over by sand. So he was here to make sure that it was not taken...again.

Maarick's brother Dadrik leaned against a building wall, looking down. His facial features showing no emotion. He looked dead, unfeeling....and very unkind. " Dadrik, You don't have to keep yourself here. I can deal with this myself. " He told him, yet he knew Dadrik would not leave. He had a bit of an attachment here. She was still in the city, and he still felt the overwhelming earge to protect her. Yet he couldn't go near her...none of them could. "Listen brother, you don't need to inflict this pain on yourself. The more you stay here, the more farther your going to fall. You made your decision. Don't dwell on it to much...please." he said to his brother. He truly was worried. Dadrik had became a slightly different person....a person he used to be.

As it's been three months since the feather was stolen and the burning of the Valdigraph, it was also three months since Dadrik made the hardest decision of his life. He traded his peace, his happiness for her safety. So that she wouldn't be burned alive from within by Aura. She haunted her body and kept Dadrik at bay with her threats. He couldn't live with himself if he was the cause of her death. In his mind, he was doing this entirely for her. Even if it hurt her, she'd be safer without him. She was a strong girl...and with Aura, not much could get to her.

Dadrik turned to his brother as he spoke to him. " You know... Just shut up." he said a bit rudely. " Honestly Maarick, I don't need your lectures. I'm fine. As for the feather. I just don't give a rats damn about it. I'm here for my own reason." He said turning away from Maarick. He pushed himself of the building and turned down the ally, starting to walk. " I don't need any pity nor do I need anyone to feel sorry for me. " he said stopping for a moment. " You know, all this time We help people..but what for. We get no thanks, all we get is a bad rep. So what is the point.. I honestly don't care about these people anymore. " Dadrik's body then flickered and he was gone.

Dadrik ended up halfway across a Aden, walking the streets out of mind. He wasn't paying attention to anyone passing by, and thats when it happened. He ran into someone, but someone he knew. Dadrik turned and started to glare. When his eyes came in contact with who it was, a smirk came to his face. " Seleal, It's you....just what I needed." Seleal gave him a snobbish look that he always gave, the look where he had no interest in anything. Like he cared for nothing and no one. Only think this guy cared about was 'defending' the cities secrets. But his way of doing so was a despicable one. " Yes just what I need." He said swiftly turing and grabbing at his throat. Just as his hand came around Seleal's throat, Dadirk and him flickered to nothing. But to Dadrik, he just moved to another ally. For Seleal, he didn't notice anything except he was in a different placed and thrusted up against a wall with enough force to crack a small crater in it. Slowly Dadrik lifted up till Seleal was lifted off the ground. " You know I really dislike you.... Your so called way of protecting secrets...you cared more for the 'secrets' then the people. Sacrificing innocents for something that isn't always physical....Thats not how it should be...I know your family, and the ones before you were much different than that...it makes me wonder what went wrong with you..." he said starting to squeeze his neck. Seleal started to yell out in pain until he couldn't make a sound from the pressure. " But honestly, I don't care anymore how you did things... People aren't worth life...I'm doing this out of my own sick pleasure...cus I don't like you, and as well as you just happened to be in the wrong place." As he said that, his aura appeared in his free hand and a sword slowly slipped downward out of it till the handle came to be. Dadrik wrapped his hand around the handle then lifted the sword up and slowly slid it into Seleal's stomach. His fire encased his sword and the sword soon vanished from the middle of the flame. All that was left was the flame, which quickly crystallized pinning him to the wall. Dadrik then created another long flame and crystalized it, and swiftly shoved it into Seleals chest. " Now, no one has to worry about your ******** ups..." He said coldly as he let go of his throat.

They say....
That I must learn to kill before I can feel safe
But I
I rather kill myself then turn into their slave
Sometimes
I feel that I should go and play with the thunder
Somehow
I just don't wanna stay and wait for a wonder

Antares Skyvehn
Puppeteer of the Guardian Wish

Antares, upon seeing the werewolf and the girl, turned to them and then smiled vaguely. At once, the puppet woman, that was dancing earlier, dashed to them and then made a respectful bow. Antares then fiddle a solitary string from his zither and a high tone resounded in the area - the puppet then made a graceful spin and then went back to the puppeteer as a man with an unusually obnoxious aura approached him. Antares nodded in recognition of the man as he "complimented" the puppeteer's performance.

Deep inside, Antares scoffed and thought that this performance was nothing compared to what he could do. And then, he thought, this man was beyond repair, so to say. The puppeteer looked at his watcher as he threw a coin that landed beside him. Couldn't even put a coin by the box, eh? Perhaps, this man needed a lesson?

Antares made a pluck of his zither, one completely out of tune so that the woman puppet fell at the ground with a dull thud, before he controlled himself and then laid back. For that time, he was half-standing as he gripped his zither with a very strong grip. The puppeteer then grabbed hold of what was left of his patience and then stood up and packed his things, wanting to leave the obnoxious man's presence. He couldn't stand people like him.

When all of the sudden, one of the man's admirers screamed in shock. A man with a hunched back and grizzly beard then grabbed the girl as she fell down at the ground as she gasped for air. This time, a trickle of blood gushed from her left shoulder and her left sleeve ripped like it was slashed by a knife. Antares' eyes widened with shock as he realized and identified the signs; he must have lost focus from earlier and his aim ricocheted into the girl. Dashing at once, Antares snatched the girl into his arm and then pulled out a pouch. He poured what seemed to be yellow-colored dust into his palm and then smeared across the girl's slashed shoulder. Then, she lost consciousness.

Antares shot a nasty look at the man being followed by girls across town.

Fiore Halen
The shining star of Aden

It was sudden, what occured before Fiore's eyes. There was screaming from one of Fiore's follower girls, and blood trickling. What an event to say in the least. When the puppeteer ran over to her aid, Fiore chuckled a bit. Then he heard more screaming. He glanced over to see that his other fan girl was also screaming, though not from injury. She was just frightened. "Fiore, please keep us safe!" They pleaded to him. Fiore smiled even wider than before. What a show that was. Screaming, blood, fear, and even more seemed to be filling the area. It was amazing. Then he saw it. The dirty look from the puppeteer finally reached the noble's attention. Oh, what a wonderful day this was turning out to be. Fiore stepped back a bit to find that the uninjured girl had gripped tightly onto his arms. She was trembling with fear, and Fiore was as cheery as ever. It was cruel how he got pleasure from their pain, but Fiore didn't care about how cruel it was. He had status. Status was like wealth. The world bends for you when you have all the money in the world, and it works similarily when you have an amazing social status.

It took a moment, but Fiore eventually managed to free himself from the scared girl's grip. With that, he clapped. "Bravo. What a show. It moved me, how you were able to injure that girl no problem, and how you managed to so easily stike fear into the hearts of my admirers. I'll be sure to watch you again, some day when I have the time." He laughed, and then raised his right arm slightly. The coin the Fiore had earlier tossed on the ground floated up, hovered over to the puppeteer, and slid it's way into the box with the other coins in it. Then a good few other coins floated out of Fiore's money pouch, and followed the first coin. He then proceeded to reach into his money pouch, grab out a few coins, and then dropped them. Before they hit the ground, they somehow started to move towards the injured woman as though the pull of gravity had changed completely. They floated int front of the girl, and Fiore chuckled again. "For your trouble." He explained rudely. He quickly glanced into the space between the girls. "I told you two," he began, "good entertainement is often rare entertainement." And with that, he returned his gaze straight ahead.

Zalfiar

Zalfiar Quickly eyes widened as the girl suddenly bursted out with blood. He quickly came to the girls side as he was caught and then the puppeteer took her and poored something on her. "What in the hell did you do?" He asked only seeing a bit of what happened, not catching all of it. He then turned his head as the smug self indulged man speaking so rudely. This man seemed to think highly of himself, to highly. "You shut your trap." He said to the smug man, looking straight at him with a glare. "This isn't some sort of sick entertainment for your pleasure. It was an accident. If anything, you should of been the one that got clipped. Not her." He said letting out a quick breath from his nose then turning back to the girl and the puppeteer. "Hey, Is she going to be fine?" He asked him paying no more mind to the full of himself man. He was worried yet very intrigued at what just happened. Worried for the woman, but intrigued how he did so and what he put on the woman.

Fiore Halen
The shining star of Aden

A scoff left Fiore's mouth as the man with red and black hair spoke. This man seemed to think that he could critizice a nobleman. Boy, was he wrong. "Excuse me? I wasn't aware that you had the right to speak to me in such a manner." He frowned, shaking his head slightly at the man. "I'm not sure if you realize this, but everything around here is for my entertainment. This entire city is my playground. Only one person around here can tell me otherwise, and I'm not sure if he has even been coronated yet. Therefore, I advise that you be the one to 'shut your trap'. I'm not going to tolorate any disrespect." He fiddled a bit with his left earing, adjusting it so that it was better in place. He didn't quite get why anyone would possible want to speak to him in such a manner. He was Firoe Halen. He was the noble of nobles. Everyone loved him. Women wanted to have him, and men wanted to be him. That was how it always was, and always would be. Why did the man with red and black hair not see this?

Glancing back, Fiore checked the unconcious girl. The coins that had been flaoting in front of her had made their way into the woman's money pouch while Fiore had been explaining the order of things to the man with red and black hair. He did wonder how the woman was doing, and if she would be alright. Fiore didn't want her to die. Not because he cared that much about human life, but because someone dying on his watch would put of small nick on his reputation. It wouldn't be huge. Fiore would just explain that it was the puppeteers fault, and the poor entertainer would end up in prison. It would be pretty simple, but it would take a while for Fiore's record to go back to normal. "The woman will be okay, right?" He asked coldly.
