Review Solanin Movie
JdeneIsMrsJangHyunSeung
took me a while to really getting around to watching this cuz i had other movies and doramas i wanted to watch first
finally i had the time to watch SOLANIN
story;
progressed as the manga did
the characters matched up to the manga characters
at times it was sweet
at times it was sad
at times it got you thinking about life
can't say it was bad because it followed the manga the way it is start to finish
the manga itself is a short story so all the parts important an irrelevant fit in nicely
cast;
really didn't know the actors except for one which is kenta who plays jiro
(same dude who plays chiba in beck)
i can say though, the acting was really good
from the manga and the movie i felt the actors connected well to their roles
(i own the manga)
i like that you can hear taneda and meiko actually singing
(unlike beck where koyuki isn't heard at all)
music;
love the song 'solanin'
meiko sang it well
(lol when the song was new i over played it, that is the AKFG version)
i disliked the part where the co.label wanted to use rotti (name of the band) as a back up band for some gravture idol, that was a low blow
parts i liked;
the kid who fell for meiko, kawaii xDD
the old man kawaii too xD
kawaii for mistaking a frog sign or whatever you call it) as a post box
his story was adorable; how he sends letters to his deceased wife (same mailing address to and from) it makes him feel as though she is with him and that she knows what he is doing on a daily bases, that is so sweet
over all;
a very nice watch
it is all about life and how people go about living it
what goes on, the ups and downs and what you want out of life
story; 5/5 - just like the manga
acting; 5/5 just like the characters in the manga
music; 5/5 loved loved the songs
would i watch this again....
sure i would
it is easy viewing and the music is great
a slice of life you should watch when you have the time
