Biography: He was crushed when he saw his first vision,that dreadful stormy day. He didn't want it to come true,but he knew it would. He had a feeling in his gut. The feeling never went away. Every time he closed his eyes,the vision came back. It was telling him he had little time left. His best friend would burn.
He knew what would happen that day as he walked into his private high school in Athens. There,being an oracle,seer,or medium was normal. It was welcomed in fact. He thought of it as a curse. he drug his feet that day,hoping to prevent the inevitable.
When he managed to actually get into the school,he saw what he knew he would. A man was walking proudly around the hallway,one hand shoved in his pocket and one hand gripping a shape he knew very well. A gun. David picked up his feet and ran towards his locker,pushing past kids and saying a quick "Sorry!" or "Excuse me!" or "Coming through!" as he dashed past everyone. He finally made it to his locker,out of breath and eyes wide with fear. he ran over to Felicia and gripped her wrist. She saw the tears in his eyes and knew immediately what would happen to her.
They kissed,longer and deeper than they ever had before. They had never kissed actually. People turned to stare,watching the two people embrace each other in the hallway,with the principal drawing near. He let go,his heart heavy and saw the man from the try hall looking smug. He pulled out his gun and cocked it,shooting Felicia in the gut and then the heart. She didn't fight it,but crumpled to her knees and died silently. She knew that was the way everything was supposed to go.
The man let out a hearty laugh before running out of the school,leaving the shocked group of kids to mourn the loss of Felicia. The only girl who everyone got along with and who got along with everyone. David rushed forward,grabbing Felicia's hand and pressing a light kiss t it. Tears filled his eyes and the girl let out one last shuddering breath. Everyone gasped. They were sure she was already dead. Her last words would ring in his mind forever. "Be strong,David Andrew Scheel. You must carry on for both of us. I love you." With that,the girl's eyes closed and she slumped back against her open locker,blood sinking into the knees of David's jeans.
She was dead.
Nothing could have stopped it. The Fates had foretold it to go that way. David stood up rigidly and he felt everyone stand back in fear. The principal ran forward,her heels clicking against the granite floors. She looked at David,then at Felecia and understood. She knew why they had been kissing. She knew he was an oracle. Everything was fine.
But he wasn't.
For weeks after she died,he barely slept,barely ate,barely talked or did anything. He was a ghost in his own mind. He was with Felecia forever. Together forever. His mother and father knew what had happened. They had been at the funeral. They knew it was time for him to spread his wings and leave. He was thirteen.
They sent him to this school. The one he is at now. They never wanted to do it,but it had to be done. After he made some friends,he came out of his sullen shell and opened up. But at the word 'death' or the name 'Felecia' he would close up again. Be warned.
