Ever on and on I continue circling
With nothing but my hate in a carousel of agony
Till slowly I forget and my heart starts vanishing
And suddenly I see that I can't break free--I'm
Slipping through the cracks of a dark eternity
With nothing but my pain and the paralyzing agony
To tell me who I am, who I was
Uncertainty enveloping my mind
Till I can't break free, and
Maybe it's a dream; maybe nothing else is real
But it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I feel
So I'm tired of all the pain, of the misery inside
And I wish that I could live feeling nothing but the night
You can tell me what to say; you can tell me where to go
But I doubt that I would care, and my heart would never know
If I make another move there'll be no more turning back
Because everything will change, and it all will fade to blackWill tomorrow ever come? Will I make it through the night?
Will there ever be a place for the broken in the light?
Am I hurting? Am I sad? Should I stay, or should I go?
I've forgotten how to tell. Did I ever even know?
Can I take another step? I've done everything I can
All the people that I see I will never understand
If I find a way to change, if I step into the light
Then I'll never be the same, and it all will fade to white a music box sits on the dresser that plays this song.

Susan approached the young girl's bed, looking at her concerned. Mistress...please...get out of bed...you need to eat something...
But the girl said nothing.

Lazorus knocked before entering the room.
"Is everything alright? I was told you are not feeling quite well."

Susan looked up with her big yellow eyes pleading.
Night heard the new voice, but did not turn. She continued to face the wall completely silent.

Lazorus walked over to Nightengale, and looked at her concerned.
"Lady Nightengale, are you alright? I know alot has happened, but if your willing to talk about it, I am here to talk or help in anyway possible."

Night suddenly felt enraged. She sat up suddenly, her red eyes watery with tears. Susan!
Susan popped back into human form and began to relay Night's words. "What do you know? I came to this place because it was supposed to be safe. Mom told me I wouldn't become that monster again. And I'm glad I got out when I did, or else more would be dead. I'm so....I'm so mad!" The ten year old got out of bed and walked over, holding her hand and inch from his face.
"This hand almost killed another," Susan continued to relay. "And I hate that I came so close to becoming that monster. And I know there may be no one who may help me to control it."

Lazorus smiled, and gently ruffled the hair of Nightengale.
"I know how it feels to become a Monster. I'm not even a real Vampire. I'm a Genetic Experimentation. Not even one of the Vampires in this Kingdom count me as one of them, except for Lilith." he said.
"With some work with self-control when it comes to what triggers you, you can learn to fully control it, and only unleash it, if needed."

Night's eyes widened with shock at his words. "G....Genetic?" she said. Susan gasped in shock. "Mistress, you spoke!" Night stepped back a bit, and unbuttoned her blouse, revealing a symbol on her left breast.

Lazorus nodded to Nightengale, as he smiled softly.
"Yes, I am an artificial vampire, created for the only purpose to be the "Perfect Vampire". He looked down and examined the symbol on the young girl.
"I recognize this symbol very well. No worries, nothing is going to happen to you."

Night's eyes lit up with wonder. Susan tried to relay Nights rapid questions.
"There's so much I want to ask," Susan relayed. "Why was I normal until just a few weeks ago? Why does blood make me crave hearts, and not hearts themselves? What all is gonna happen? Do I get special powers? I mean besides my telekinetics."

"Normal? You mean as in a human, or as a Heartless? Also, the sight of blood can trigger primal insticts. I'm pretty sure your powers will develop in due time, as with most things. I know that as long as your around here, Lilith and I will do what we can to help and protect you." he said, smiling.
"I'm pretty sure in the Library, there are countless books about your racial history."

Night nodded towards Susan who popped back into shadow form. She took Lazorus's hand. "Library!" she said cheerfully.
