I'm not sure if anyone out there plays video games or if it's a not interesting at all. But regardless if you play or not, you'll want to check out this letter.

Some kid on Dragon Age 2, was arguing about the "relationship" abilities in the game. In the game, relationships can happen between any two sexes, be them same or different. So this guy WRITES a letter to Bioware complaining and saying that it's not right and that since the "majoirty" of gamers are straight and male, that the game should be taylored to them, and them only. Meaning, to remove the ability to have same-sex relationships in the game.
My favorite paragraph?
"I don’t think many would argue with the fact that the overwhelming majority of RPG gamers are indeed straight and male. Sure, there are a substantial amount of women who play video games, but they’re usually gamers who play games like The Sims, rather than games like Dragon Age. That’s not to say there isn’t a significant number of women who play Dragon Age and that BioWare should forgo the option of playing as a women altogether, but there should have been much more focus in on making sure us male gamers were happy."
He's pretty much saying "Yea, there are women out there... but this game should only be for straight males."
I really hate contradictions. But I love that Bioware stepped in and actually said something instead of just letting it happen. =)
