Hello! Welcome to the freak show!
Please welcome Caiden Alexander as your lab study for this week!
Hello! I am Caiden Alexander, and I assume you came here to study the phenomenon learn more about me here at Hogwarts. If you read the next posts, you will surely learn all you need to know, and more. I assure you. I am not afraid to share my life story. But, here is a little bit about me first:
I am, obviously, a hot and sexy male by the name of Caiden. I am very full of myself, because I think I am all that, and I am currently Single. Of course, having a lady around is nice, but being by myself is cool too I guess.
Oh, and a few more things. I am, according to the sorting hat, in Gryffindor, but I could fit into all categories. I'm brave and strong, I'm actually very smart, and I'm loyal to all of my friends and acquaintences. Also, I do like power, but when it is too much to handle, I'm not afraid to admit it, and not afraid to pass the job to someone else. I always give 110% to everything I do though, regardless of what it is. Studying, working, learning, flirting with the ladies, and so on, I am always working my tail off.
One more thing: I usually don't take anything very seriously. I like to have a laugh, so bare with me, if you know what I mean. -Wink-.

Fourth year Gryffindor One thing you should know is that my post looks like this. When I am speaking, I "speak in this color with a bold face." Other than that, if I get sick of the rap I have at the top, I'll probably change that. Until I get tired of looking at these colors, I don't think I will change them.

Well, all you need to know about me is right here. Well, not right here, but, underneath this line.. I think you get it.
Username:The Consciousism Life
Character Name: Caiden Darren Alexander. (I hate my middle name... Grr.)
House: Gryffindor! FTW!
Year: Fourth
Birthdate: 7/21
Personality: I'm fun-loving, a jokester, and very full of myself. I usually don't take things seriously, because I don't see the point in wasting away your life being a grump, and being serious. I look at the good things in life, and not the bad. Even after the tragedy last year, I learned that living life how you want to live it is important.
Also, I'm not afraid to speak up about anything. If I don't know the answer, I will be blunt and tell you I don't. If I want to talk, I probably will, because usually what I want to say is important, at least to me it is. (Teachers, be ready to take points away and give him detention.. xD )
Bio: I was born in Albany, New York fourteen years ago to a Man by the name of Thomas Alexander, and a Lady by the name of Linn Alexander, both were wizards. We were a happy family, and all lived in New York until I became the age where I needed to start my wizarding training. We all moved to North Dakota, to a town I still couldn't pronounce the name of, and I started my wizarding training in a small Wizarding school where you lived at home, not in dorm-houses like Hogwarts.
I became very infatuated with D.A.D.A at my school, and by my third year, I was already taking advanced classes with 5th years. I, in all honesty, could produce a full Corperal Patronus before I left the school, and I was very proud of my work. My father was the D.A.D.A teacher, so that was probably where I got my talent from. He had taught me even before I started there. When we moved to the town with the school, the position was opened, and my father jumped on it immediately. He helped me learn how to Cast a Corperal Patronus, using the birth of my little sister, Caleigh, as a happy memory. It was the happiest memory of my life, because I always wanted a little sister. She was born when I was eight, and when she turned three, we all moved to North Dakota for my Wizarding training. Caleigh was already quite the wizard herself, unlocking doors without her hands, and flying on her miniature broom. She was just so cute.
Until the tragedy, I thought my life was perfect. I made friends my age, I was at the top of my class, and I had no problem taking in wizarding information. The only problems I had were potions, because I could never cook, and I most certainly could not put ingredients I didn't know the names of together in a class I didn't understand. Also, Herbology was never one of my strong points, because the plants would always die. I never knew why, but I always got lower grades in that class.
The day of the tragedy was just another day. It was at the end of my third year. I was in my house with my friends on the weekend, working on my Transfiguration assignment. We had to transform a pigeon into an hourglass, which really wasn't all that difficult. I was understanding the process, and I was really getting it down. My mother told me that she had to run to the store with my father, and I had to watch my sister. Of course, I loved my sister, but I was too infatuated with my project. The door was left open because it was a bit warm in the house, and my sister was riding on her broomstick in the house. Well, she flew out the door, and sped towards the road. I noticed a second too fast, because I couldn't catch her in time. She went out into the street, and a muggle car, of all things, was driving way too fast. They were also drunk, which made the situation much worse. I tried to save her, but I couldn't think of a spell fast enough. Caleigh was hit head on. Supposably, she didn't feel anything for very long, because the impact was what killed her. Not even the wizard healers could bring her back. I blame myself everyday, but I still keep a smile on my face, and try to live life just like my five year old sister was.
Likes: I absolutely love doing Magic. Of course, now that I'm in GB, I won't be able to do as much. There were hardly any rules against underaged wizardry in America, because that was the one rule that everyone took seriously in the wizarding world. Also, I love quidditch, and hopefully next year, I will get a spot on the team.
Dislikes: Being serious was never something I liked, and now especially, I couldn't ever be serious. I can concentrate, and I am a hard worker, but seriousness was never something I was good at, or liked. Also, I have always disliked Herbology and Potions class. Maybe it will be different here in Europe?
Wand: Holly with Dragon Heart String. It is 10 inches long, and it is rather flexible.
Patronus: As I have learned through hard practice, my Patronus is a Koala bear, because they love to relax and sleep, apparently. But, they are still fairly hard workers.
Animagus: If I had one, I would be a white fox, simply because they are gorgeous.
Anything else? Not yet. I'll let you know when the year goes on.

Everything I own
I don't own a lot, but I do own a fair share of... stuff. Coming here caused my mother to have a breakdown, and she.. well, bought just a little too much for me.
My Broom - My Mother bought it for me a few years ago when I was a second year. Best broom of my life.
My Owl my mother bought me when I came to Hogwarts. There wasn't much of a use for them where I came, so she thought that she would be of a good use for me. Her name is Mourana, and she is an Austrailian Masked Owl. She is the sweetest owl you will ever meet.
My Robes I know everyone has the same Robes, but, hey, just thought I would show you mine.
I have a few other things, like a chest I keep my things in, and my leisure clothing, but other than that, I don't have much else at the school. Strange, right?

If you don't see me here, look out on the quidditch pitch, on the grounds, or maybe in the Great hall. Gryffindor students may find me in the common room, and also the Library. So, probably, I am everywhere. So, you should be able to find me anywhere. This Beast can't stay in one place for too long, you know.

Care of Magical Creatures
Hopefully this is all the information I need for Care of Magical Creatures.
At hogwarts: Care of Magical Creatures is the class which instructs students on how to care for magical beasts. Classes are held outside the castle. In Harry's first two years, the class is taken by Professor Silvanus Kettleburn who then retires "in order to enjoy more time with his remaining limbs". Dumbledore then recruits the gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid to accept a teaching position along with his gamekeeping duties. Although Hagrid is obviously very experienced and knowledgeable, he consistently misjudges the risk that the animals he uses in his lessons pose to his students, which sometimes results in chaos. At certain times when Hagrid is absent, his lessons are taken over by Professor Grubbly-Plank, a witch who is an acquaintance of Dumbledore's.
World Dragon Test:
o1. What is another name for the Chinese Lung? The Imperial Lung
o2. What has a Chinese Lung's egg been mistaken for in the past? A Pearl
o3. What colours might a Lung be found in? Any color of the rainbow
o4. What is a Lung's favourite food? Roasted Bird of some sort... A turkey? I can't remember.
o5. List some defining features of the Chinese Lung. Five toes, long, whiskery feelers, long horns on their head. Their egg looks like a pearl, and they carry their eggs around with them everywhere for protection.
o6. What is an odd behaviour Frost dragons are known for? Migrating for the majority of their life to stay in the dark to hunt for substance.
o7. Describe a Frost egg. Oblong egg with jagged swirls on it as a pattern
o8. What is an interesting form of attack used by the Frost? They can breathe ice particals in a blast which can easily cut the human skin
o9. What does a Frost's diet consist of? Usually aquatic animals, like Large Octupus, Walrus's, Leapord Seal, etc.
1o. List the defining qualities of a Frost dragon. They are about 40 feet long and 12 to 15 feet tall. They have a strong muscular chest, and shoulder reigon, and they have icicles-like spikes coming all over their bodies. Also, they have an interesting prismatic coloring to their body.
11. Where do Knuckers usually reside? In a damp area, like a woodland. If there is not woodland available to them with a damp region, they will create their own burrows.
12. How long does a typical Knucker's body measure? About 30 feet long
13. List a few forms of attack of the Knucker. They have venom they spit out of the glands in their lower- mouth.. I suppose that since they are snake-like, they can strangle their prey? But I don't want to make any of my own conclusions...
14. Give an interesting part of a Knucker's diet. They will eat small children...
15. What animal does a Knucker resemble? A snake
16. What is the more commonly used name of the Mexican Amphithere? A Phoenix dragon
17. How is the Amphithere usually coloured? Blue, green, or a mixture of both, where as the phoenix bird is red and orange.
18. What are an Amphithere's methods of attack? They use their claws, and can breathe fire, but usually use their tail for strangulations and such.
19. What is an Amphithere's favourite food? Llama?
2o. What is an interesting thing about the feathers of an Amphithere? They have a gold - metallic quality about them
21. Describe the egg of a Norwegian Ridgeback. Jet Black with some lighter spots.
22. What colour is a typical Ridgeback? A leathery brown, but some green can be spotted aroung the spine and neck reigon.
23. What methods of attack might a Ridgeback use? Fire to attack, does have venomous fangs...
24. Give an interesting part of the Ridgeback's diet. Aquatic Animals is its food of choice.
25. What do Ridgebacks develop earlier than any other breed of dragon? The ability to breathe fire.
26. What is the Hungarian Horntail considered in the wizarding world? The most dangerous dragon.
27. What is the Horntail's colouration similar to? The Ridgeback, just slightly darker.
28. Describe the end of the Horntail's tail. Arrow-head like and sharp
29. What do Horntails typically feed on? Sheep, cattle, etc.
3o. What does a Horntail's call sound like? A Yowling screech?
Dragons of the world:
Imperial Lung/ Chinese Lung
- Also referred to as the Imperial Lung
- Commonly found by Rivers, or Streams, though various hidden lake Lairs have been discovered.
- Female lung carries their egg with them everywhere as a safety precaution, using the lairs instead as home to their various pearls, opals and other precious gems.
- Egg is often mistaken as a pearl - Perfectly Milky Sphere, etc.(Carries it with them everywhere)
- Grow to be 40 feet long + 12 to 15 feet high.
- Coloration varies
- Only attack when threatened.
- Diet consists of Birds, fish (Perferr Roasted Swan)
- Have five toes.
- Whiskery feelers
- Long Stag-like horns
- Large Scales
- Big Feathery tail
- Live for a long period of time - Unsure if they are mortal or not!
- Love the water - Desire to live in the water is strange in itself
- People cook food as an offering to the dragons - Dragons are a symbol of good luck
- Never attacked a human without feeling threatened first
- Cannot breathe fire
- Five years to tame
Frost Dragon:
- Lives in a glacier-carved cave by a lake or an ocean.
- Migrator from the Artic to Antarctic
- Spends most of it's year in the dark hunting
- Egg is very oblong - Jagged swirl around egg (Very recognizable)
- Average is 40 feet long and 12-15 feet tall
- Same white as Ice with an ocassional tint of pink and blue (Prismatic Body)
- Can blast ice particals - Singular attack to itself - Can cut human skin easily
- Can also attack with Claws, Horn and tail
- Diet : Giant Squids, Polar Bears, Orcas, Walrus's, and Leopard Seals
- Defining features - Icy spikes all over body (Resemble Icicles), Strong Muscular Chest and shoulder area, Prismatic coloring.
- Lives in extremely cold climates
- Takes 30 years to tame
Knucker:
- Prefers a damp location in a woods or a forest with a pond or a well is nearby
- Will create a 'Knuckle Hole' if needed. This is a very deep burrow for them
- Eggs are round with a bulls-eye or a crater pattern
- Typically 30 feet long and about 6 feet high
- Typically a leathery brown to a dull red
- Occasional Blue-green Kunckler is spotted
- Spit Venom - Have long bodies narrow bodies (Like a snake!)
- Eat mostly farm animals, deer, a fox or wolf, rabbits. But, they also will eat small children if they come wandering too closely.
- Have vestigial wings - Too small, cannot fly to carry their body weight.
- Snake-like bodies enabling them to slither rather than fly or crawl as a main form of transport.
- Venom comes out of glands in lower mouth
Amphithere / Phoenix:
- The breed Phoenix is classified as a dragon Found off shores of lakes and small islands
- Almost a sphere - will have irregular indents and such like mountains and hills, though they are not raised.
- 40 feeet in lenght, 5-10 feet in height
- Mexican Amphithere is a blue green or a mix of the two
- Phoenix - Firey red color
- Phoenix has ability to breathe fire
- Phoenix tail used as primary weapon
- No specific diet, although its favorite is a Llama
- Feathers on tail and around its neck - Gold metallic appearance
- Long Serpintine bodies
- No legs or arms whatsoever.
- Long narrow tongue
- Golden eyes

- Does not eat humans
- Eggs float
Norwegian Ridgeback:
- Native to Norway
- Desires to live in northern mountains
- Jet black - May have slightly lighter, patchy areas
- Average length of 35 feet ((??))
- Usually a brown color, sometimes a hint of green around spine or throat.
- Can breathe fire and attack their prey
- Venomous fangs
- Diet: Many Mammals and aquatic Mammals (Rare Choice for dragons)
- Can shoot flames earlier than any other species
- Females are considerably more ferocious than males
Hungarian Horntail:
- Most dangerous Dragon Breed
- Lives in Hungary mostly
- Egg is grey , hard like cement
- Length of 50 feet ((??))
- Flames shoot very far
- Said to have black skin, though Coloring is similar to a rideback(Only slightly darker)
- Prefers to attack by breathing fire (Extremely high temperatures in a matter of seconds
- Large arrow-head tail (Extremely heavy and sharp)
- Food Choice includes cattle, sheep,and goats
- Large horns (Spike-like) protruding from their heads (can be used as a form of attack
- Yellow, vertically-split eyes
- Roar is a Yowling Screech
- Ability to fly at enormus speeds
