I caught Zekrom like this unintentionally, first try. A similar thing happened to me in Diamond with Dialga and Azelf.
So now I'm on a quest to catch all the legendaries with a Quick Ball. Unfortunately, I've tried more than once already with Kyurem, and he will not stay in the damn thing. It shakes three times and everything.
(soft reset chain, here I come.)
So anyone else doing odd mission like these in Black/White?

I use mainly ultras and dusks, timers seem to have been weakened a lot.

I know, as of Platinum, it takes an average of 35+ to ensure a likely catch, and by then, the dumb thing struggles itself into mortal wounding. *points angrily at Giratina*.
But its just a fun little side mission while I progress through the game. Now Thundurus....I am determined NOT to use the Master Ball on him.

Ayame_Rikimayu I know, as of Platinum, it takes an average of 35+ to ensure a likely catch, and by then, the dumb thing struggles itself into mortal wounding. *points angrily at Giratina*.
But its just a fun little side mission while I progress through the game. Now Thundurus....I am determined NOT to use the Master Ball on him. Maybe you could use elixers on them? He was easy to catch (atleast for me)

I manage to catch legendaries/Ubers in PokéBalls and I haven't had an issue really. I try with Premier Balls but only have a few in them.

I only catch legendaries in pokeballs and premier balls this gen. I did it with zekrom (premier) and thundurus in a pokeball. I went to go look at kyurem just to see him and managed to catch him in a premier too. Resetted it because its stats were slacking.

i think i killed thundrus or tornadus i have white but now i'm kinda sad because i don't know if i can find him

Yea I caught Zekrom with a pokeball and Thunderus with a great ball, but I couldnt catch Kyurem with a pokeball so I had to use a dusk ball :/

i'm trying to get the kyurem to battle the east side of white because i have uber low level pokemon but i need a master ball so i need the 50 trades which is going to be a pain in the butt

lol me too...except I am trying to catch them all in a Heal Ball...lolz So far I have Cobalion and Virizion in Heal Balls. Still trying to get Terrakion though...lolz -^w^-
