The previous night had left her beyond tired. Suffice it to say, she was not looking forward to the day. However, it wasn't in her nature to not go to her work when she was tired. If that were the case, the town would be running amok. Adelina was pretty much always a little tired. The thought of a good cup of coffee made Lina very happy as she started to pull on her uniform.
While Adelina didn't mind the uniform, she didn't like how everyone was super wary around her when she was wearing it. It wasn't like she ran the town with an iron fist, ticketing and arresting on a whim. Adelina wasn't like that at all, and she wished people knew that and accepted that. With a sigh, she finished lacing up her boots.
Adelina grabbed her wallet and a jacket before heading out. »
