Should I get my skills high enough so that I can do all effigys on the spot (as I get them from monster drops via slayer or bosses) so that I can dump them into Prayer for free 95 (or 99) Prayer?

Or should I just spend my money directly on Prayer right now?

Basically my plan is this... The effigy skills come in pairs, right? Well I plan on getting at least on of those skills (for each of the pairs) to at least 97 that way I can do ANY effigy right as it's dropped.

Basically, I would need to get my Woodcutting/Fletching to 97, Construction/Thieving to 97, and my Crafting/Agility to 97.

As it is right now, Woodcutting is at 94, Con and Thiev. are both 80, and Crafting is 91 while Agility is 82.

Woodcutting would be easy to finish off so I don't really need to worry about that skill, however the Con/Thiev. and the Crafting/Agility Effigy is what I'm concerned about.

Should I dump my money into Con. and Crafting or go for the free way and get Thieving and Agility to 97?

Personally I would dump the money into Con/Crafting since it would help get prayer up for just about free.

It would be more rewarding to get 97 in the skills. I mean, think about it. Multiple 97 skills versus a single 99?

Also, I'd like to point out that Gundam has no clue what you're talking about.

I've decided to try and get my Agility and Thieving up. In theory, Agility would only need to be 92 and I could use a pie to get 97. And Thieving would only need to be 95 and I could use a scroll of some sort to boost to 97.

That would save me money yet again.

Right now I'm about 85 Agility. So... I'll work on that one first.

Thieving and Agility cost almost nothing to train. In fact, Thieving tends to yield money, so I don't see how it's really saving any money. Time, of course.

I say go for it, but for the sake of it being rewarding to have high leveled, self-sufficient skills for effigys, rather than for the sake of training to high Prayer.

If you're really concerned about getting 95/99 Prayer, it would be easier to pay for the training rather than doing it with the effigys.

I'll be getting 92 Agility today, and that means I can use a Summer Pie to boost to 97 Agility, so that effigy set is out of the way.

Now should I go for 97 Woodcutting (or 95 with a boost) or 95 Thieving (boost from a familiar scroll can get me to 97) ?

I can't decide which one to go for first.
