Lil Candy Princess Krissi-Chaos Matasoga * While contracting a terminal illness is well in keeping with my luck and just the sort of thing that would happen to me, I would have to go to a doctor's office to learn about it and everyone knows that I can't afford that. You know, I still cannot believe that healthcare is not government funded in the States. At all. It's like a violation of human rights. It is government funded. But you have to be extremely broke and something has to be medically wrong with you or you have to be pregnant. So unless Josh is developmently disabled, has AIDS or cancer or is addicted to heroin, or pregnant (LOL)...then there is no way he can be put on welfare. I heard there are places outside of the US though that pay completely for you medical care no matter your income...that's awsome but crazy. Sorry for going off topic. I'm sure that we're poor enough to be on welfare, but either I forget to insist on days that the place is open and Sara won't go by herself, because the office where you must apply in person is in a bad neighborhood. At this point, though, we'll very likely be leaving the state soon enough that it seems silly to start now... But I won't be living like this in PA. Hopefully we'll have a job, but if not, then I'll do things this way. Also, no worries, Brooke. We don't really have a topic here, anymore, now that the joke's over.

Even if the office isn't in a bad neighborhood, there tend to be scary types in there. I don't like going by myself either. The people who work there treat you like crap too, at least that's been my experience. Once you're on it though you can renew it through the mail then you don't have to deal with the employees or the people in the waiting room.

Matasoga So as lots of you know, life has been stressful lately, and I'm thinking of just taking a step back from things for a little while and just cutting Gaia out, passing off guild membership, in case I don't come back, and giving away most of my stuff... I should be finished by the next week or so. Thoughts? Feelings?
Well, above & beyond all else, I want you to do what you feel is best for you & your real life, & what makes you the happiest. Ultimately, the decision as to whether you stay on Gaia or leave should be your own & all your own; as convenient as it is for me to want you to really value my opinion on what I think about you potentially leaving Gaia, I have way too much respect & fondness for you as a person to let you do that.
Regardless, I'll still express my thoughts & feelings like you asked... Truthfully, I'd be absolutely devistated. I know I haven't known you for long at all, & regardless of whether or not you're on Gaia we can still chat on MSN & whatnot so it's not like I'd never hear from you again... I'd largely just be devistated because I honestly don't care how new to Burn you are, the fact is you're one of the few Crew members holding that guild of mine together... I mean, you make enough of a difference there so that I was actually considering perhaps offering to promote you to VC in Burn, & that would be the first time I've promoted anyone to VC who hasn't been around for at least 6 months. Because of various reasons (all of which I believe I explained in my hiatus note thingy thing in Burn), I'm really starting to feel like I might have to end that guild & I really, really don't want to have to, & you leaving would make it tonssss harder for me to continue it.
So, yeah, that's by far the main reason I'd be devastated if you left Gaia. However, if you actually for some reason decided to stay on Gaia just for the benefit of me & my ******** guild or whatever, I'd also be totally devastated, just for very different reasons, lol.

Oh, I should have put something in the first post... I think I'll go do that as soon as I finish with this post. This was just my lame, stilted, hackneyed, and thrown together attempt at an April Fool's joke, dear. I'm not going anywhere... And neither is BURN if I have anything to say about it. You've got a huge guild, with ton of devoted people who I'm sure don't want to see it go. I'll keep doing whatever I can as Crew, though of course I'd be deeply honored to accept the promotion to Vice Captain, if you decide that that is indeed in BURN's best interest. BURN has become a second home to me (this being my first, of course) and I won't let it go without a fight. heart

YOU HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CREATURE! crying
... Actually, I'm beyond delighted that that was an April Fool's joke, of course! I'm just slightly embarrassed that I fell for it, lmfao.
I mean, I'm like the least gullible person, too... So, of course, you get major (yet hesitantly given) props from me for actually tricking me with an April Fool's Joke (granted, I was reading it on April 8th, for whatever that's worth xP )

Heh, well that's what you get for not keeping up! xp I kid, of course. With all that's on your plate right now, daily attendance to this or any guild is the last thing that I would mandate. Lame as this little prank was, I'm glad that I got to share a "Gotcha" moment with a few people who were paying attention. Things have been oddly sleepy around here the past few days. Maybe you and I can stir things up a little.
