I have a red octance 3.0 ignition dance pad and it works great, sometimes... The arrows don't respond sometimes. Thing is, I had one of these mats before it, um, died (read: I tore the s**t out of it). I never had response issues with it before. I've checked the sensors and haven't come up with anything. Somebody please help!!

Here's some advice: Don't stomp on it like a mad person.
Maybe that's the reason why it's not working in the first place..

As long as the warantee hasn't expired, you could probably exchange it. I was able to exchange my 'faulty' (read: I didn't take good care of it. >_> ) 2.0 for a new one a couple years ago.

I dunno about the mats. I've heard that heavy stomping wears them down fast, as does jumping. my advice is wear them out within the period of time you have to return them sweatdrop xd

maybe you're slightly missing the sensors? Or maybe there's a faulty connection.

I have a 3.0 and it works like a charm.
But don't stomp like hell on it like my brother does. Because that's what'll mess it up. ToT
If it's still in the warranty period, you can get it exchanged. *nodnod* I can't explain, maybe it's love...

you may stop too hard... you have to remember that they are very sensitive to touch....

My pad's okay except that it always moves on carpeting. But I guess a lot of people have that problem.

also, don't let inexperienced player play, no offense. some newbies stomp so hard and n00bs definetly do it. thats how my metal pad broke. some kid was stomping on it like crazy. but if ur looking for a replacment pad, get a cobalt flux. best pad out there. might set u back a bit but its worth it.

All soft pads wear out eventually, regardless of stomping. Take it from someone whose gone through three in one warranty.
