Background History: Kazu was a special child raised amongst the Leaf, at a young age the Kyuubi attacked the Leaf. The Hokage at the time was able to defeat the Kyuubi with much help from the Leaf, and he was able to seal the Kyuubi inside Kazu. Because of this Kazu lived somewhat of a secluded life during his adolescence. He was raised within a small clan known as the Momiji. He had no special abilities, and no horrible encounters in his early child hood, he just spent his time working and learning the ropes of his clan’s bathhouse near the mountain's stoneface. His clan owned a bathhouse because they are a clan of Boil release users. They’re Kekkai Genkai enables them to mix the elements of Fire and Water to create the scalding heats of the Boil Release making it easy for them to create things like Hotsprings.
Kazu attended the academy at age 12, a late start because he was learning the basics from his parents in the off time from working at the bathhouse. Eventually graduating at age 13, he became a Genin. Doing occasional missions, he focused more so on his family’s Bathhouse. But at age 16 a terrible thing happened, his father passed away. He died due to a drowning. He had passed out in one of the baths after hours and no one was there to attend to him. When he slipped under the water he awoke, but he couldn’t move because his muscles were completely numb due to the hot water. Unable to do anything he drowned in the own waters he created.
Kazu came to a horrible realization that day. He realized that he didn’t want to end up like his father, one day at an old age and possibly ending up the same way. He decided he needed to do more with his life, and because of this he’s decided to pursue the way of the ninja more seriously. Because of this he went back to the current Hokage and was placed back into a squad. He spend the next year working in his squad as an older genin. The chuunin exam eventually came around and because of his more developed body and being an expert in his Kekkai Genkai and having the chakra reserves of the Kyuubi, he aced the exams in all three portions.
For the next two years he spent his life as a chuunin until he was promoted to jounin on his 23rd A rank mission. After saving his comrade from death in a fight with a S rank rogue ninja. His team killed the ninja in the end, but they were heavily injured. The comrade he saved being the most injured, losing an arm in battle. Kazu has spent the last five years as a jounin, steadily climbing up the internal ranks of jounin.
Notes:
Kazu and the Kyuubi have a mutual agreement, Kazu doesn't want the Kyuubi and the Kyuubi doesn't want to be sealed, so Kazu vowed to search for a way to release the Kyuubi without killing himself. When he finds a technique capable of that he said he would release the Kyuubi because of this they have agreed to work with each other. And because of this, Kazu is able to access the Nine-Tailed cloak form and retain control, as well as transform himself into the Kyuubi and retain control.
