Okay, so I'm a Star Wars fanatic. As you all probably have already guessed, I'm a huge nerd. > u>
So obviously, I'm going to be a huge fan of nerdy things. Which means I'll be posting stuff like this.. probably a lot. Get used to it.

So here we go. This is the unofficial Nameless Star Wars thread!
Here, we can talk all about Star Wars.
You know, what your favorite movies are, what your favorite books are, what your favorite characters are, games, etc.
Star Wars is a HUGE franchise, and it can be endless fun for fanatics like me.

So here are some of my favorite things from the Star Wars franchise:

My favorite movies - Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

My favorite books - the Darth Bane trilogy.

My favorite games - Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II: Sith Lords.

My favorite characters - Jango Fett, Wedge Antilles, and Darth Bane would take the top three. I have many more favorite, however.

Aw yeah. Jango is such a bad a**. Glad to know someone shares my opinion.

Also, Knights of the Old Republic is a great game. Won a ton of awards for many different reasons. Plus, the author to my favorite Star Wars books was one of the lead writers for them.

I was actually thinking about cosplaying as him too. After I played Star Wars Bounty Hunter, I was just pulled in by him

I think I remember reading about KotOR in an article of a magazine and thought "man that sounds awesome"

Are the books any good? I've only read the Chewbacca comic book

- I know, right? I also loved how they portrayed Jango in the comics.

- It really is awesome... especially when you played it when it first came out. It was one of the first of it's kind where you get to choose your own path in a game that actually has a well thought out plot.

- The Darth Bane books? They're great. Drew Karpyshyn, the author of the books and one of the head writers at Bioware, is just an amazing author. You can read his books with ease and still be impressed by his style and ideas. He doesn't waste anymore time than he needs to when describing how something appears, but more so on what the characters are thinking or how they're feeling. Which, in my opinion, is what really matters in a story.

He's also written a book on Darth Revan- the main character of the KotOR games. Although it's not out yet, it's been revealed that he's already finished it. Personally, I can't wait.

Also, if you've played any of the Mass Effect games, I heard he wrote a book or two on them.

Bioware...that name sounds familiar, I think I've played one of their games before

I'll have to look those books up, might be an interesting read

- You probably have. Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and KotOR are their most popular, though. I think. But they've made quite a few others as well. You might have heard about them because of the awards they won, too. I think they were took the "Studio of the year" award in the 2010 VGAs.
... Yeah, I watched them. Just because I wanted to see if Red Dead Redemption won game of the year, which it did. I had a big obsession over that game at the time.

- His books are an interesting read. And I just love how he portrays his characters. Fff. Sorry, I get geeky when it comes to Karpyshyn's writing.

- Well, I've only played the first Mass Effect a little bit. Never beat it. But I would read the books just because Karpyshyn wrote them, lol.

Lol, it's ok man I kind of get that way with Kevin Smith films.

Not really a fan of the Red Dead series but the zombie one looked kind of interesting -shrugs-

I really didn't know what else to say because it's been so long since I've seen the original trilogy, so I'm sorry for not responding back at first. I need to make a mental note to pick them up or something or see if my girlfriend has them on VHS 3nodding
