Now normally, one would not catch Kellie Nieve in this part of town in the middle of the day. Especially on Friday. She'd let Nagendra head off to do his own thing, and was kinda just looking around the shops, curiously. So when she spotted the quaint little Scents shop, her eyes lit up curiously. What a place! Gently touching the door, the scarred young Garage owner made her way into the shop, indigo gaze talking in the sights…as well as the smells! So many. Some of them even reminding her of her own dear child, Naggie, who was getting older still, it seemed.

Kinda made her realize how sad it could be, since she'd not had him around too long, and….she didn't really get to coddle him much. He'd COME so independent after his life on the streets. Well….whatever. Sampling a few smells, she stopped when one caught her sense of smell particularly. What…was this? Looking at the bottle, her one truly good eye caught the label 'Dearly Beloved'. Well…..This was such a natural smell….Rose….Vanilla and…"What IS that other smell? I really don't recognize it…." She murmured, supposing she was only talking to herself. After all, she was a bit of a sight, her black hair covered by a red bandanna, face and bare arms smudged with grease, and her tank top and pants stained with the black as well.

"Baby's Breath," Olivia replied to the woman who entered her shop. She had been signaled by the small little brass bell that hung above the door of her shop and was jingled each time someone had entered. She hadn't been too far away, just in the back of the store-front which also doubled as her little house's kitchen.

"Most people just see it as those little white flowers they use to accent the bigger flowers, but it's a lovely smelling blossom on its own," She smiled, walking towards Kellie from the podium that held the store's register.

"I'm Olivia Solace. How can I help you today?"

Sighing happily, Kit looked up at the woman, smiling a bit, "It's a gorgeous smell. It really is. I haven't smelled anything like this in a long time." Her eyes were soft, and she ran a finger over her scars, carefully. Turning the one good, one half-blind eye on Olivia, she smiled widely, then looked back at the oil, smiling. It smelled nice. Softer than Nagendra, and calming.

"I was looking at getting a good scent. Naggie's messes end up reeking sometimes. Oh....Nagendra's my kid, by the way." Best to clarify that. She didn't want to get any funny looks from people. She really did love naggie, but seriously, she could use a new smell about the house, and this one...well....this one might do.

"No worries, I understand how that can be," Olivia commented, with a small smile. Remembering a time when Ment was nothing but a white haired, freckled face little boy is striped shorts. Sometimes she missed that. Her teenage... son... was more than a handful recently. Going here, going there. Dating childhood friends...

"That particular oil is rather warm scent and is very inviting," She explained, not giving Kit's scars a second glance. Living in the poorer end of Cyrus, Olivia was used to people coming and going who were tattooed or scarred. Tradesman and vagabonds both.

"It also hangs in the air longer, so it may or may not outlast your little one's messes," She smiled.

The woman's smile softened, "It reminds me of things back before the accident. I had a rose garden at my old place...and the other smells.....remind me of family." Her eyes were soft as well, almost reminiscent in the way she stared aimlessly, "I think...this one would fit well in my house. It's become a lot warmer lately, thanks to the kid. He's talked me into sprucing up the place." She chuckled, softly.

"You'd never guess a hardass mechanic like me would get all doe-eyed over a kid..." This muttered more to herself, than to Olivia. Turning to her again, she grinned, "How much would this be? It'd smell nice in my room...."

Olivia listened to Kit murmur on to herself and reminisce about things passed. It made Olivia's own mind wander back to her grandmother, whom she had inherited the store and house from. It wasn't an incense store back than, it was a small low-scale hat store. They got by on it, but Olivia was not nearly as skilled with a needle as her grandmother had been. Once her grandmother was too old to work with a needle, the store-front closed and Olivia was forced to find a job elsewhere.

Being jogged back out of her own reminiscent state by Kit's question, Olivia starred at her blankly for a moment as she ran inventory in her head, "I believe that particular scent is ten pieces for the bottle. The ingredients are pretty common, so we always have it in stock."

Ten pieces. That was easy enough. Picking up a bottle, she held it to her chest, smiling. She cuddled it like a child, her eyes soft and loving. This scent was perfect. She'd love the way it burned in her home. Pulling out the ten pieces, she jingled them in her hand, "So....Do I need to get a burner and everything as well? I really look forwards to smelling this lovely scent." She wondered if 'Gen, as wild as he was, would take to the smell well. It didn't really occur to her to think on that.

"We have burners and tea-lights in the back," Olivia smiled, "Burners are twelve pieces, and the tea-lights are four pieces. The tea-lights are special slow-burning candles, so they'll last you till the oil is gone. I always ask my candle-maker how she manages to get it to do that, but she says it's a trade secret."

"Would you like me to go grab you them awhile?" She asked, motioning Kit towards the lone little register in the middle of the room. It was pretty for being so old. Adorned with designs and some gold accents. Olivia wondered how much she paid for it, since it was one of the prettier things her grandmother owned while she was alive.

Nodding enthusiastically, she took the oil over to the register, setting the oil down and pulling out the rest of the coin. A worthwhile expenditure, if you asked her. This would be so....totally worth it. The smell, the warmth, "Yeah. That'd be great." Looking to the door, she wondered where Nagendra was. She'd told him where she'd be, "Thanks so much, for this."

"Thank you for being a patron our store," Olivia said with a smile, going into the back to retrieve a burner and tea-light for Kit. She frowned when she saw some chew marks at the edges of one of her tea-light boxes. The little mice were back again. She'd have to yell at Ment to stop feeding them again. They weren't pets, after all, they were filthy vermin.

Placing the tea-light snug into the burner, Olivia grabbed a box and a bag along with some tissue paper and exited the back towards her podium. She placed the burner in one side of the box, and carefully taking the oil from Kit, she put it into the out side of the box, but not before crumpling up the generous amounts of tissue paper and shoving it between the two items. Didn't want them to clang together and break, otherwise there would be no pleasant smells later on.

"Alrighty, your total will be 26 pieces," She said, punching a few keys on her register to record the amount and turning to place the neatly packed box into a small sturdy paper-based bag with strong twine handles.

Sliding the full amount over to Olivia, she took the bag, cradling it lovingly. The bell clanged behind her, and she noted a hint of a white and red tail as 'Gen peeked through, "C'mon, KIt! I wanna go home!" Bowing her head to Olivia, she grinned, "Thanks again, seriously!" With that, she turned on her heel, following the little serpent boy out the door and back towards home...home...where who knew what surprises would await.

Olivia smiled to Kit and placed her payment in the register, about to wish her a good day when her door's bell jingle and alerted her to someone coming in. She was stunned to see the tanned boy with his blazing red hair and white horns, and quickly a familiar smell lingered into her nose and she felt like she was watching something surreal.

He was a Scent child, but she had never met him before. She knew the scent though, strong and wafting. She had sold a vial many years back to a woman with skin as bronze as his own and her head tilted quietly. She wondered where he had come from, and how he came to be with the woman who she just sold oil to... Because this woman, this customer, had never entered her store before. Had never purchased anything from her prior to this visit.

She was about to call to the child and ask him where he had come from, but Kit's voice brought her back to reality and she smiled instantly and responded, "Have a wonderful day, and stop back anytime."
