This week we watched Plan 9 from Outer Space. What did you think of it?

This movie was terrible. It was so bad that it was hilarious. The actors (they were actors weren't they?) sounded like they were reading their lines off of cue cards. And the plot was just so odd.

I've seen SyFy movies that had more cohesive plots than this movie had.

Try watching a SyFy original movie sometime.

This has official recognition as the worst movie ever of the worst director ever.
In other words, Shadow, I'm real happy for you, and Imma let you finish, but Ed Wood had the worst film of all time!
So more from me on the topic of Plan Nine later. In the mean time, I will offer that the "abbreviation" (put in quotes because it only has two letters in common with the words "Science Fiction") is a rather stupid choice and I wonder how it sits with the nerd demographic at large... Though let's not veer too far off topic with it.

Since the next movie night is tomorrow, I better deposit my two cents.
It lived up to it's reputation as the worst movie of all time. It was really rather uncanny. The acting, the direction, the special effects, the writing, the premise...
Every part of this movie was bad. You could say in it's own way it was sort of... Incredible. That it has a place in the history of cinema is an undeniable fact.

As bad as it was, I'm glad I watched it. It was definitely amusing.

This nerd at least finds the SyFy abbreviation completely baffling, especially since they used to use SciFi, which made sense. I can't begin to understand why they changed it.
