TNA star Kurt Angle was arrested on Friday morning in North Dakota. According to the police reports, Angle was found in his car which was parked in the median along the highway. Angle reportedly told the cops that he had hit a patch of ice on the road. The cops smelled alcohol and administered a field sobriety test, which Angle failed.
Kurt Angle has been arrested and was charged with being in control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated. The highway patrol did not actually see Angle operarting the vehicle so he has not been charged with drunk driving.

Good thing it wasn't in NY, we consider being in the car drunk and driving drunk the same thing.

I know what archon talking about since I use to live in New York, if your in the vechicle u get charge with drunk driving even if they didn't see you operate a vechcle

Both are qualified under the same law in NY. Doesn't matter if you're sleeping in the back seat, if you've got keys on you, you're getting a DUI.

Both are qualified under the same law in NY. Doesn't matter if you're sleeping in the back seat, if you've got keys on you, you're getting a DUI. Really? That's a messed up law. Equivalent to being charged with possession of an illegal substance because you live in the same apartment complex as someone who smoked weed and you happen to be holding a tobacco pipe when the cops showed up. I knew NYC had crap laws but damn. Being in a vehicle, driving a vehicle, and intent to drive a vehicle are all very different things.
