It was clear the undiluted onslughter of insults to the stallion did nothing. It was rediculous. Honestly she was sure he was insane as it continued on. A tingling in the back of her mind gave wind to s shift in thought as she began to recall more of their previous talk. He truely was insnae. She was sure of it and without her mothers help was he so. At least sh could rest easy assuming he'd not met her mother. She wished such a fate unto no one.
She shifted though because she got the odd feeling that things were not as they should be and sure enough they weren't he confessed feelings for her. If she hadn't already deemed him insane she'd surely have laughed at the ridiculous confession. She even though she deemed him insane found it quite amusing. He knew her stance on where it all stood. Stalions couldn't care. They didn't have it in them to care about others. Frosty was still a foal in a Stallions body so he didn't count. But what of Karloff? Jack Sticks! Karloff was quite capable of caring. She clenched her jaw at the inner workings of her mind. Perhaps she could take pity on the poor sod... No it was clear he was going to toy with her. Offer Feelings? Neigh they were merely words meant to allure her to trust him. She scoffed. Did he think her so naive to believe mere words. He had been the one to talk about true love before she knew he must be insane even more though it was not necsessary.
However he was onto the .... thing... that was trying to trap Frosty. "I'll not have you tell me that he'd be happy being taken away from me! Frosty is MY Best Friend!" She growled once mroe it was becoming quite a frequent occurance. Her tail whipped to the side as she ground her teeth at the thought but it was soon once more swamped and dwarfed by the more important information on her sister. It was certianly her he spoke about. He never made note of her size though so she was at a loss as to if she'd been drawfed like her or if she'd grwon big and strong like ...him She'd not mention his name, merely just his gender. She was treading touchy waters with her emotional levels as they were she didn't want to tip the scale and loss it all. Precious work to stay sane in isolation, she'd not let it go to waste. It made since though that she'd threatened to kill him. It warmed her heart to hear that it was indeed her sister.
She glared up at the stallion refusing to focus on him rembering what had happened the previous time she'd made the mistake to focus on him and forgot everything. IOt was bad enough that at the time she was only getting on though out and then dropping it for another she'd not do it with this stallion again. "If you can bring me to sister then I guess I'll be willing to give you a single chance. "

He was a fool to think she would believe his words. If he wanted to prove anything he would need to act but how would he prove he loved her? She would think him beyond insane if he walked up to her and tried to get close. They were just standing there he wanted to get closer but risked it should he? He cared more than she would ever know how to prove it all to her the only way he could think of was to help her. Had she ever met other stallions she trusted? He knew frost was one how did he get her to trust him? He decided to risk getting closer and stepped forward making the birds fly out of the trees. He was sorry to disturb them from there sleep
"Your best friend..It seems he cant make any more you are very protective of him..I understand this is a hard subject for you sometimes you just have to let it go. It will be painful but im not sure what you could do you dont want to kill do you? I wish there was something i could do but talking wont solve much"
He noticed she was on edge growling when the thoughts crossed her mind. He wanted to touch his horn to her and see if that would help anything. He knew he had some healing powers but could it mend pain and suffering due to this? He doughted it he needed to get her to speak his name then she would feel something. How he would go about doing that he had no clue. this was a very emotional time and he was clueless.
"I will take that chance and prove you wrong stallions can be very trusty more so those who have feelings. I was not kidding when i said that you can see in my eyes i care words mean nothing to you so i will prove this with my actions"

Umbra shook her head and moved away from the Stallion as he neared. No she'd not let him near her in her upset state. She never believed the shadows to be alive as her mother did but she knew enough to be aware that not many could pass through the darkness that could sometimes come with the concentration of shadows about her in an emotional state. Had she not warned him of the Shadows? She had and he heeded them naught? Ah twas the Moon it thined them and made them visible. Simple really but the would not stop their darkness once engaged. All it would take was a cloud passing across the moon. Jack sticks she was conscerned for the poor sod, only cause he was insane she reassured herself no other reason. Not becasue he was determined, or seemingly noble no it was because he didn't seem to know better.
It was then that she did laugh. Just have to let it go, no she'd not. Her mother had and then as a result merely let it all go. No she'd not lay down and play the weak party. She'd not give up Frosty he was hers by all means not to be toyed with by this mare who wanted to ruin their friendship. She snorted, surprisingly enough she was claming in the Stallions presence though not all was good her thoughts were flowing more fluidly rather then blocky setting one then a dramtic jump to another forgetting the previous. She wanted to ruin their firendship. That was it! As if hit with an idea she knew what to do. Merely lure Frosty away from the mare as the mare was doing and all would go back to normal. Yes YES! Excitement reeled thoguh her as she realized it would work perfectly fine. All it had taken was some calming down. She glared at the stallion that had continued to talk about feelings and such and she wouldn't admit it but she'd used his presence. Jack sticks. He was useful... insane but useful. She'd calmed down it was unfair to say the least. A stallion none the less. It couldn't have been a mare no it had to be a stallion."I've got it. The plan it's there. I'll be rid of her yet. And mind you without having to get my hooves bloody." She finally grinned and looked about. it wouldn't take long at all no she'd get him away from the mare and she'd have won. Proved the better of it all.HE would be wrong. She'd be better then her mother to. She'd keep her firendship. "Come now it's quite alright you need not plead your case any longer my insane friend."

That was fair enough she back away when he got closer. She knew herself better than him and he still knew the shadows could be dangerous. Of course that thought never crossed his mind because he did not care how dangerous they could be he would let them sollow him alive if it came to that.The clouds did slightly cover the moon now and he notcied Umbra became harder to see the shadows were growing stronger. He hoped the clouds would not cover all the moon or this might be another lost cause because in the darkness she could slip away unnoticed and leave him there clueless.
He wanted her friendship he knew she was not going to back down from this challenge before her. She seemed to proud to let that happened wanting to be the victor in first place.He wondered what she was laughing about and then it happened her entire expression shifted and the air grew less tense. Her face she was did he dare say it? She was grinning and smiling but not in a pleasant way. She was opening to him and this was what he had been waiting for,
"Would you mind to explain your plan to me? Have may i be of service? I have noticed the look in your eyes it has changed."
He was quite shocked for what came next she called him a friend. How had that happened? This sudden idea had made him her friend? No matter this would lead on to something more once he had proven himself.
"Thank you my lady you shall not be dissapointed for allowing me this chance and considering me a friend. I am yours for whatever reason no matter if i am insane or mad"
He bows again since she never acknowledged his first one. He goes down on one knee bowing his head under him before rising. For now he was so much to his word he felt like a servant but that was ok with him this would all pay off. Someday they would be happy and who knew there might even be a family of there own involved that was what pushed him though this crazy idea.

Umbra felt like dancing for sheer joy. She was sure she was more cunning then the other mare. She was small and quick on her feet. She was sure to win this game. She knew her frosty. She could lure him away sure thing. She already had the bond of friendship. It wouldn't be enough to break a bond of love but she didn't think about that. Nor would see unless Frosty told her he loved the other mare, which she knew he wouldn't cause he didn't love the mare. "I shall merely beat her at her game. I shall swindle My Frosty away from her back to where he is safe." She wiggled a fire burning within. She was eager.
She frowned and cocked her head at his bow before really paying no mind to it. It was odd to see him bow but in her joy it made her feel giddy. "Your silly, insane to say the very least." She nodded. She'd take note of this Stallion.

She was happy so was he seeing her like this made him feel much better. This was the mare who wanted to see the bright one who was hiding under all those shadows. She was coming out of the dark and this was one step forward he knew if this kept up she would at least have some feelings for him but that was off his mind right now all he wanted to see was her happy even if it was not for the best reason. He wished this mare had not fallen for this Frosty but she had and now the was going to pay for it words could be stronger than action he knew that.
"I have trust in you and i know you will not fail i can see you being able to beat her no matter what for. I will help make sure your Frosty comes back to you and this mare well you will never see her or worry ever again"
He noticed her frowning after his bow like she had brushed it off again no matter the time would come when she would pay head to his bow. She seemed joyful and full of energy but how would this go though she could not walk in the day or could she?
"Why thank you i think im quite normal but to be falling for a shadow mare you have to be a bit crazy supposing silly comes with it all"
He smiles now as happy as she is knowing he is a friend not a close one but she regards him now as stallion and is not pushing him away. She is starting to trust him but he knows when she says his name that is when it truel happens she will fall for him if not Frosty but he did not think she loved him like a mate only like a possession like a best friend cares.
"How will you carry out these plans? Can you walk during the day what would happen to your shadows?"
He takes a few steps closer to her hoping she wont move back again

Umbra frowned at him again a serious look passing over her face as she eyed the Stallion. She shifted even father from the Stallion. It was odd. An odd feeling was in the air and she didn't much like it. She sincerely hoped it wouldn't last but she had a nagging feeling it would not quit or cease. She scrunched her nose frowning at the sticky air about. It worried her but she brushed it aside. She'd not be looking into it for fear of what it might be.
"I can walk in the day my shadows still remain. They are just not as strong. My body oozes with shadows so I cannot be rid of them because if they were gone I'd be gone." She danced away. Antsy at his constant attempts to get closer. "Why do you feel the need to get close to me?" She shuttered away willing the clouds to come closer to the moon. "I don't think you'll be of much help at all. It is a matter or allure. Something I think would be best left to a mare."

He saw her backing away from her again and accepted it. It was not time to try and get closer there would be a time when she trusted him but that was not yet. He backed up some knowing he was intruding in her space the air felt tense again she was frowning at him and it seemed things ahd taken a step backward. Still he pushed on never give up he never would.
"So you can live in the sunlight its just that of course you perfer the dark of the night. It would be horrible if they went away and you with them i could not live with that..I feel the need to get closer because have i not stated? I have feelings for you and will never stop trying to prove myself worthy we are now friends but i vowed for something more the promise to myself"
He hoped that the clouds would stay away from the moon because if they covered she would be gone and yet again he would spend sleepless night looks for her be he felt more at peace during the night now even though his colors shown brightly in the moonlight.
"I dont care if you dont want my help i am insane enough to help and your mad enough to acccpect it. I can still help you i can be backup if you would rather deal with this mare to mare..I have had my own talks with one called Jent..Stallion to Stallion"

Umbra scoffed at his statement that she was mad enough to accept his help. "Mare to mare? No Best friend to Best friend. I shall merely convince Frosty of her not good for him nature. He shall come to see where I am right and if not at first I shall continue." She tossed her head daring to look away from the stallion sure she'd not need his help. She'd already begun to regret calling the insane creature her friend. "I shall not allow him to be overcome by the prissy mare.'
Already the argument she'd present to frosty was forming. She'd make him see reason and if not reason she'd trick him away. To a cave perhaps where she could hide him till the mare decided her fancy for him had passed. It was merely a passing fancy, the mare was surly not bent on hurt her so she'd leave once the fancy ended. If not then she'd have to warn the thing away. She'd rather not confront the mare but would be it necessary. "Feelings" She scoffed going back to what it was he'd said. "Your a insane, knocked right off your rocker it would seem."

"I suppose you can do whatever you want..I could never understand what your going though but i am sorry it is happening.Perhaps this mare you could pretend to like her get deep into her then tear her down from the inside..? I have heard of ones who have done that pretend to be a best friend then tear those down whom they hated..You could break her in that fashion..I do not approve of such treating but i am offering my advice"
He wanted to get closer with Umbra this was not working she was going back and forth wanting him to be her friend the next wanting him to go away. His feelings would never subside only grow stronger he wanted to admit all his feelings but held most of them back. He had stated some of his feelings in hopes she would respond in some fashion but she seemed to obsessed with this mare.
"Feelings yes i have them and no matter how much you deny it so do you..I could say a million times over i have some for you but you will never listen to me. I only hope i can prove what i feel with my actions someday..The first time we met in the dark your shadows brought me in i decided then i would never give up on you no matter how hard you are to prove to...I might be insane but so are you,..If you ask me its the perfect combo..I know you will never admit it i also know that by saying this i am subjecting myself to punishment do what you will i am unafraid"

Umbra frowned listening to his ploy he suggested. To be deceptive enough to befriend the mare. She didn't think it was worth it. She shook her head, any darker she could see that it would be able to happen. She shook her head. "Perhaps if I cannot appeal to his logic. Then other means may need to be employed" She shrugged and tilted her head to the side. It could be done but she didn't dare think it would happen.
She narrowed her eyes at him and sighed. "Insane." She'd not call it anything else. She looked up and grinned as the clouds neared the moon. "Perhaps we should give you space? You seem to need a moment to gather yourself. Truthfully you surely have a loss of air to your brain."

He sighed watching the clouds grow closer to the moon knowing he would shortly run out of time. He had to make his last few words count give her something to think about till the next time they met. He hoped on the next meating she would know he really was truthful.
"Mad..Insane whatever you prefer to call me i dont mind.."
He smiles at her now seeing her grinning at the moon knowing she knew to that the clouds would soon come over. There was something about her he liked when she grinned her fangs glinted in the moonlight somehow he thought that was very attractive.
"Yes perhaps your should i am not an airhead though by any means..Let me tell you the next time we meet its will be much the same unless one of us takes actions to change it"
