Thrud was going on her normal run through the forest. She was looking for anything that she needed to take care of so for the first time in a while she wasn't running around naked. She had her hair tied up in a short pony tail, since she had lost more then half her hair. She was still mad about her impromptu hair cut. So she was a little on edge still and would be short with anyone she found on her property.
She was wandering through the trees when she caught a scent. She looked around and wondered if there was someone about in her area and started looking, pulling one of her knives off her arm and looking around.

So far, things were boring. Couldn't find anything to eat, couldn't find a home, or couldn't find anyone to fight. What a bummer! A little Abyssnian tom thought. He had ventured away from his current roaming grounds and into the trees of the forest. Perhaps he could find a squirrel or something to catch at least, maybe a turf to call his own. This wasn't really what Reese wanted though. What he really wanted to do was stalk, pounce and fight another stray. It was doing this that he found exciting.
Getting deeper into the forest, he came upon a tree and sniffed it. Hmm... It seemed that there was at least a female in the area, and he had to wonder if there was another male as well. On the off chance there was, he decided not to mark the tree and press on, unaware of anyone heading in his direction.

Thrud walked along with all the stealth that she had mastered over her many years and she watched around a tree as a small top cat wandered through her forest. She sneaked and wondered if he was really trying to find a place to make his? Not in her part of the forest! Her and Anbu worked too hard to get this bit of East Ikebokuro from Youko. She wasn't giving it up to snot nosed child when he hadn't asked for it kindly. Though she didn't think she needed her large knife to help deal with this.
Sliding her knife back into the holder on her bicep she pulled a kunai from he pocket and flicked it at the other male, aiming for just ahead of where he was walking. A warning, as she walked out from around the tree. "Excuse me small child but this is my land. Why are you in it if i don't know you?" she asked, putting on her best scowl and resting her hands on her hips.

Only a few more steps were taken before he was stopped, mid-step, by a flung weapon that landed just before him. The tom though, having no concern on his safety, was more interested in the kunai than looking around for who threw it. Walking up to the small knife, he sniffed at it curiously as the female anthro walked out from behind the tree. It was when he heard her voice, that Reese's ears perked and he looked up to see who it was. I knew there was a female here! He thought proudly, as if he made this fantastic new discovery. Not really thinking, his fur bristled to make himself look bigger, but not really in a threatening way. He was brash, but not that stupid. At her question, he casually sat down, tail curling around his paws. "Well, when I wandered into these lands, I didn't know it was your lands, now did I?"

Thrud raised a studded brow at him and laughed. He wasn't concerned. He wasn't worried about the weapon. He wasn't...He was stupid if he wasn't scared of her. Most everyone was afraid of Thrud and for good reasons at that. She licked her lip and let her arm blade slid down and be noticeable to him.
"Small boy child do not talk to me like that. These are my woods. Thats why the borders smell like me, and most of the whole land smells like me. do not think you can disrespect me in my lands. Now why are you here? Do you need some place to stay or do you just wander where you feel like it with out stopping to think if it belongs to someone else first?" she asked with a smirk as she looked over him.

Reese investigated the thrown weapon a little more, finding it really interesting. Noticing her move, he looked back to her and took note of the newly revealed blade. His eyes seemed to light up, as if saying, 'wow, that's so cool' as he looked that new weapon over as best as he could, tail swaying from side to side. When she prattled on about the woods smelling like her, he snorted softly. "Why would I care if the woods smelled like you if I didn't plan on staying around? I don't want your territory and I don't want my own. I was born a stray... a wanderer and that's what I'll always be." As he said this, he tried his best to hide the sound of disappointment in his voice, but there was still a hint of it.
