Before it was the United States of America, is was just, America; then again, it wasn't even called America. There was just land, and crops, and animals, and people. Native people. Native Americans. And despite the American land initially belonging to the Native Americans, the White man took over. There wasn't enough room for the Indian tribes now that hordes of settlers were pouring in. There was a need for westward expansion, manifest destiny, and there was no way groups of long haired savages were going to stand in the way of conquering new territory.
Though American Indians have been oppressed by whites for a while now, they still come into towns and trade their goods for riffles seeds and various other supplies. Some younger Natives are fluent in English and can easily communicate with the settlers. Crazy Wolf, a Suix Indian
