The limbs are what you need to work on.
I bet you were trying to use proportion and depth but I think you went a bit overboard as there really isn't much depth needed.
3nodding If you compare them, one arm and one leg are shorter than the other.
And the back foot is a bit too small.
The front hand is smaller than the back hand (closer it is the larger!) and if you look at the back hand, the angle its holding the scythe at is a bit unnatural.
I think it looks really nice other than those points!
Actually, no. I wasn't working with depth. Just proportions.
And that angle isn't unnatural at all. I hold stuff like that all the time, and since it's of my old avi, it works perfectly. sweatdrop It is just the current position of the wrist looks a bit uncomfortable, not impossible. The current wrist looks like it dips down just a little. Most people tend to not hold things with their wrist like that in posed art because it looks aesthetically pleasing to have a straight wrist in such a pose, but, as you pointed out, it is perfectly plausible that one might hold something in that manner.
I'm not good enough with my tablet to attempt red lines, so I won't, but I do agree that some of the proportions are off kilter. But the red lines someone else gave look about right. In my experience hands should be about the size as the space from the character's chin to forehead. Her forearm (front arm) needs more definition. Her neck could be a little slimmer (she's got a manly neck) as females tend to be less muscular than males unless they are on steroids or something.
Also, her eyes seem to be looking in two different directions. That should probably be addressed. And maybe her jawline could be better defined, right now it seems to abrupt as if she doesn't have an ear there. It looks a little weird that way.
Over all this is a good solid start, and it just needs a few tweaks to make it a more solid character drawing. She is an interesting looking character. Good work!
