Kotaru managed to appear at his old meditating place where he used to skip for his own personal training to learn his Shikai. Now he is ready to learn his Bankai also. He thinks about it and the risk if he doesn't achieve it and becomes the same person he is now...but he isn't going to try and give up and finding another source of power besides getting infected...to retrieve the powers of a Hollow. He took a deep breath as he went into meditative mantis stance as he places his twin sword struck into the ground as he took a deep breath again as he closed his eyes and started to meditate. As he was performing the Jinzen he'd heard about before. He arrived in a inner world in his mind that was too deep for anybody to connect with him in the outside world. "Uh....Hello? Kami Kakushi..?" He called out to his Zanpakuto in a place which appeared to be a place where there were screams as there was a dark feeing of spiritual pressure and something else there. He came up to where there was a gigantic gate probably bigger than a Menos Grande as he was in total shock a little. He soon saw the big gate started to shake back and forth as there was a large growl and roar like some big beast behind it which in secret was the actual size of his Zanpakuto spirit.
