Why does it always happen that as soon as the New Year starts convention season is on my mind?
The cosplay, the people, the Art, the panels, the I-can-only-get-this-here exclusive Con items...
All the Youtube cosplay and research in the world can't make me less excited or wish that the time between now and a convention would close faster. Thankfully I can remind myself that in a month I will be selling at Artist Alley at K A W A I I KON. Those Paopu won't make themselves!

I've only been to two cons. Cause...it costs money to travel and what not. Also, it requires time off from school and work and what not. Which is something I am severely lacking. Now that my boyfriend lives in Maryland (and I may be living there too, this time next year) it's a little more likely that I'll be able to make it to Otakon again. And since I should have a job by then, I'll also be able to cosplay something decent!
I really wanna do Sailor Entei. I found art of it and it is too cute! But then, I also wanna do Horo (Spice and Wolf) and Hungary (Hetalia)!

Miss Chloie Maryland, huh? What cons are nearby that? Otakon. It's in Baltimore at the convention center on the harbor. It's the largest con on the east coast (as of 2009). It's basically the Anime Expo of the east coast. (Anime Expo being the largest con in America) Just for funzies, here's a list of the biggest cons! http://animecons.com/news/article.shtml/1000

Sounds like a picturesque area. o.o
I do miss the fun of conventions. It's got such a crazy exciting atmosphere. Unfortunately, they are a bit pricey to go to. :< I always have to save up for them. Plus, I usually have no one to go with where I live, so it sorta loses it's appeal. The only reason I really go is for the merchandise and artwork. ^^; The panels can be kinda fun, but I've been to some that are kinda boring. I do like the masquerades/contests though. 3nodding
