guilt ridden, distant, strong willed
David is a man filled with many regrets. But he has every intention to make up for them, and even more. He's very much driven by goals, and will go as far as needed to reach them, no matter what gets in the way. He hates selfish and thoughtless people.
He's extremely close to those he considers family, or that is in his favor. Though he's an all around polite man to all. Though a closer look at him now, one could tell he's gone a bit. He's truly not the person he used to be.

"This room... this perfect room. Is only meant for her, do you understand?"
He started off with a simple, but very cozy and happy life. His small family with his wife, and the daughter he adored Sayori. But of course good things don't last forever. It started off slowly. His wife demanded a divorce, not happy with the lifestyle anymore, and wanted to be a free person. Leaving Sayori to him, wanting nothing to do with ether of them anymore. He was crushed by this, but held strong for his daughter.
The two of them moved to a small apartment in Castelia. For cheaper rent and to be closer to his work. He found himself a girlfriend, and for awhile things were ok again. Then it happened one day, in one big blow. His girlfriend broke up with him, his second heart break. He got into a car accident, and the other driver drove off, his car broken now. When he got to work he learned that he was fired, and to take all his stuff that day. When he got back to his place, the landlord complained that he was tired of his late payments, and so he was going to evict him. Giving him a week to get out. His daughter had broken some of the dishes while he was out. They couldn't do this. He couldn't do this. How would they survive on the streets? So he decided, to end it for both of them that night. Poising their last dinner.
But fate wouldn't let him go that easily. He woke up puking what he had eaten, lucky to survive. His daughter on the other hand was not so. It was then he realized his mistake, how foolish and selfish it was. Selfish people. It was the reason for it all that day. If only people weren't selfish...
To try and fill the hole, he adopted 4 other children. But in the end they couldn't be Sayori. It's then he decided a plan. Not only to rid the feeling of selfishness and thoughtlessness from people. But to also bring back his daughter, a girl who died from peoples selfish and thoughtless actions. If everything goes right, this would be the last selfish thing anyone would ever do again. And this is where the story begins.
