yep, i downloaded Rpg maker Vx and started to develop my own game.
i suck judging my own work, so, wish me luck, and if u have rpg maker Vx and get curious about my game u can ask me for a demo of what i have so far. if u dont have Rpg maker Vx and want a demo, WHAT ARE U WAITING FOR??? lol, anyways dont expect big things im still learning to use the program, also im using music from different rpg games, even some covers.
with that, ill say again, wish me luck, ill really need it (5 days and i just have designed 6 scenarios, 5 of them might never appear again in the game -_-)
Todays update:
What do you think of this save room? in the big chair will be an npc that will save the game, i havent added it yet, also the water in the pond, the waterfalls and the background moves.

I remember playing around in RPG Maker XP way back in middle school/high school. Tried to make some sort of Rune Factory type game. Had fishing, mining, farming, a love system, the default fighting system, level system, weapon upgrading system, and all the clunky crap. Was trying to make an all-rounder game.

good news, u dont have to dowload rpg maker to try it, i found out that i have to add the rtp file so u dont have to install nothing, however that makes the ile size heavier, anyways i might edit a demo
in later days XP. ALSO, somebody told me about Ig maker wich u can use to make action rpg games (wish i knew about it earlier than rpg maker Vx -i might give it a try and start using it instead of rpg maker since action rpg are my fave (dont get me wrong i still love turn based rpgs)

Hey can't wait to try out the demo. The game looks solid. Once it gets done you make sure you tell me and PM me a link to the download. I may Live Stream the whole game (whilst recording) and post vids on youtube (with your permission of course)
Now personally I use OHRRPG maker (official hamster republic rpg maker) to make my games. Its free but kinda hard to get used to. To date I have only made one "test game" and one beta game to speak of but it is quite a solid program and as game designer to game designer I wish to tell you it is worth a try.
So anyways, I wish you the best of luck with your game and also hope that you will let me show it on my youtube and ustream channels.
