So you're not really concerned about people lives, just the status of a particular country. Worried that this horrible disaster might affect your anime downloading? Kinda shallow, don't you think?

Actually no... I wasn't even considdering anime at the time.
Japan may have drawn my attention with anime,
but then I started exploring other things from japan.
It's just that sence Japan recieves practically ALL of my attention.
Every other country kinda just gets ignored.
So yes, believe it or not, my concern for them is NOT based simply on my love of anime.
My thoughts are on all the people that were lost and how their lives were cut short, probably still with many things and experiences that they never got to enjoy... *sniffle*
Not to mention those that they left behind that will miss them.
