This manga is apparently 3 volumes/15 chapters long and is about ice skating/figure skating. Also, this is where Haruna Sakurada/Patricia Haruna came from! Naoko Takeuchi simply re-adapted her in Sailor Moon.
Ok I can see why this manga didn't take off too well. The art style is just normal Naoko Takeuchi style work so I'm used to seeing it's...quirks shall we say. However the writing is horrible. I'll sum it up like this:
OMG I LOVE skating!
I need to find a partner to go skating with me.
OMG SHE'S AWESOME AT SKATING!
Let's go skating!!
Alright we're skating.
Let's go to school and talk about more skating.
Time to train for skating with...*Gasp* Roller Skating!
Skating, skating, SkAtInG, SKATING!!
and so on.
Yeah I get it. I KNOW it's about skating. However when you have your characters ONLY talk about skating it gets boring, especially when you see them talking about how great it is much more then showing us. The page above was 22 pages into chapter two.
For my complaints it's not a horrible manga it just seems to be boring. There's not too much to say about the storyline other then it's about a girl who loves to skate. There's a lot of characters that don't do anything and almost every page contains the word "skate" or "skating" at least once.
