This was a story written and drawn by Naoko Takeuchi herself, and it's the earliest work of hers I can find a name for (that was more then 1 chapter). Apparently it's about a girl falling in love around Christmas time. It's only 1 manga book long. Apparently it was a flop.
It's just Shojo. STRAIGHT UP SHOJO. There's nothing wrong with shojo but this story really doesn't have anything more to it. There's only 4 chapters and the main two characters fall in love. That's. It. It's problem is blandness, but the writing isn't all that bad.
There's -technically- five chapters but the 5th chapter is a completely different story. It's still straight Shojo. This bonus chapter makes a reappearance in Miss Rain anyway, so that only enforces how unrelated it is.
