Mini pets are simple programs created for specific functions, be it speed boosting, simple firewall erection, circuit repair, etc. They do not have AI, but are coded to follow orders of their creator and their anti-virus / malware partner. Some can talk, some cannot, it really depends on the creator's preference. Just remember they can't perform any functions not specified in their original coding, and, unless designed for this, they generally don't participate in AV/malware battles.
