It's so funny! You can search the internet for it and see it streaming. Yamaxchan and I made a date night of it. It's a mocumentary about otakus . I think it was made in the 70s?

I haven't seen it but I've heard of it. I got the impression that it is similar to the movie "Trekkies" about Star Trek nerds.

OMG that movie was super funny! My favorite interview is with the American and I love how they keep miss translating him and putting words in his mouth! whee

I also love how the documentary kept posting news as if it was all Otaku's faults! I really need to download the ending theme song. heart If you haven't seen it, you should!

You know, that sounds familiar... I think I did see it... but that was like years ago... I don't really remember what it's about... neutral Hmm, I think I'll go look it up again.

Basically what it is is an anime / mocumentary. It drifts from hillariously exaggerated anime plot to "interviews" with allegedly ashamed otaku. Also, they try to point guilt by association of otaku by describing terrible events and right afterwards going into an "interview," implying that the interviewee is guilty of the terrible event instead. xD it's really quite hillarious
