+Information about the guild: Originally created on February 2nd, 2006.
Its meant to be a practical place where Gaians can come and chat freely, less for the sake of getting gold, and more for being able to talk to nice, intelligent people who don't flame in your face.

Unlike the chat box, or other threads and guilds, we use good grammar and don't ask for gold. So, yeah. d('.'d)

+ About Guild Setup: This guild is divided into three forums; the Protonic forum, the Neutronic Forum, and the Electronic forum.
- The Protronic forum (Proton being the postive of the three subatomic particles) is for extended discussion, rants, and meaningful threads.
- The Neutronic forum (the neutral particle) is for everything else that doesn't go in the other two forums; basic threads, blah blah blah.
- The Electronic forum (the negetive particle) is for unimportant and useless spam and complaint threads. Its a forum deadicated for those of whom are gold-hungry.

+ More Info: This guild also runs by an Admin (captain); Mod (crew); Member; Public system. That means the Admins have the most power here, while the Public (or the browsing guilders) have none. This system is common in almost all guilds, and you should already now this. But in case you didn't, now you know.

If anything in this guide doesn't answer any of your questions, or if you have any comments, feel free to PM me. I don't bite.

+ Basic Rules: (as seen on front page + a few new ones)

i - follow gaia ToS
ii - no spamming / flamming
iii - no discriminations, racism, etc.
iv - keep it PG-13
v - use good grammar!
vi - no harrassment
vii - no begging

01. Respect other members and the public!
Trolling and flaming (the practice of making rude comments to make certain people very angry) is not allowed. Vulgar or hurtful comments shall be removed and a warning shall be given. If you continue to make repititive rude comments, then you shall be banned. This is supposed to be a confortable environment, not a battleground of hate.

02. Respect the Moderators and Captains.
They work their asses off to perfect the guild, and you would do well to
give them your respect. If they give you a warning, it was with good cause. But if you don't feel the mods judgement was fair, then PM me and I'll sort the suituation out. But remember: Mods hold the power to ban members and the public from guilds. If you wish to stay in the guild, don't piss them off. Thats the best advice I can give you.

03. Use good grammar and spelling.
see one of the below posts for more info.

04. No Crazy Mindless Spamming.
That is, posting random crap just so you can get gold. Not only is it bad on the eyes for members to view threads like that in the main forum, but its taking up guild room. However, spamming is okay in desigated areas. But only there. Take it to the Electronic (spam) forum! If its placed anywhere else, a mod or myself shall move it.

05. Post thread in correct forums.
If myself or a Mod finds that it doesn't belong, we shall move it.

06. Do not post Gigantic Images.
They stretch the page, and bother peoples eyes. If I edit a post with a gigantic image, I'll just leave a note and disconnect the image link with a star (*).

07. Frequent One-Smilie Posts.
Posts consisting of only bb-code smilies all the time, will not be tolerated. You are expected to actually talk here. One-smilie posts makes it hard to reply to and shows you are not creative enough to make a proper reply with actual words... However, if you don't do it much, (or if its just in the spam forum) thats okay.

08. Abuse of PM/Email System.
Abuse of the PM/Email system and other messaging methods through fellow members, results in an instant ban. Abuse includes, but is not limited to; spamming, and hate messages. You my also be reported.

09. Do not fight with le Mods.
You should not publicly dispute or argue with a moderators or admins decision. It should be done in PM's.

10. No Porn/Hentai/Nude Pics!
No no no no no. There are 12 and 13 year-olds that go on Gaia, and the last thing you want to do is blind their little eyes. Porn is perverted and wrong, and if you want to stare at people f**king each other all day, then you do it on your own time. Porn/Hentai images shall be deleted, and the poster's membership banned, with possible reporting.

11. Do not double post.
If you do so, delete the extra one, or myself or a Mod will incase it is overlooked.

12. All that bad stuff.
Labling, discrimination, cultism, specism, and racism isn't allowed and will not be tolerated. In short; diss anyone really bad, and be suject to a banning. Also, if you're going to argue about posers and emos and crap, make sure I'm offline. I have a nack for arguing endlessly. And I always win.

13. Be postive!
When chatting, please refrain from being bitchy or prissy. It annoys the hell out of people. Also when chatting, don't complain about "Omg! The world hates me...!! " or "I'm going to commit suicide today because my boyfriend left me..." or things along that line. If you have those kind of problems, go see a consulor. That, or the complaint box.

14. Please Post!
Members that do not post regularly, or at least 5 times, will have their member status deleted. Omg. This is such a lie. We don't do that. So no worries, you're safe. Unlike some guilds, we don't delte your membership unless you do something reeallly horrible. However, I do suggest you post a bit though, it makes us happy!

I cannot stress enough that people on this guild should use proper grammar. If I cannot read it, then no one else can read it. English grammar makes the world go round, without it we could never be able to understand each other.

+ Please do not use speak that uses numbers instead of words, you 633K5.

+ Simple 'lol' or 'btw' is tolerated in the most minimum amounts. (I'm guilty of using 'Lol' a lot...) Over use of 'g2g', 'ttyl', 'm/', 'lmfao', or others is annoying.

+ Abbreviations, like 'u', 'r', 'ur', 'ppl', etc. are ugly and not tolerated. In this guild, you have to burn the extra calories to type out the whole word.

+ Puntuation is extremely important. Be sure to use commas, for it makes things more organized and neater.

+ Do not post reply consisting of only a smilie, such as ' xd ', ' eek ', 'o.O' or dot usage like '....' all the time.

+ I highly suggest you use creative writing. The more creative, the more interesting. Everyone loves a person who makes RP and chatboxes more lively.

+ And if you're going to swear, do it properly. Not like dis u fcking biatches.

+ Hill Billie speak is gross and isn't tolerated. Same for 'gangsta' talk.

01. What do you mean the guild is theme-less?
It means you can post any topic. Ranging from movies to books to what you ate for breakfast.

02. What are the requirements to join?
Just post a lot and come to talk a bit every now and then. We do not tolerate chatspeak though, so use good grammar! We also expect you to be kind and respect others.

03. If there is a conflict / fight / arguement / harrassment, what do I do?
PM me or a Mod straight away, and tell where it happen and who was involved. Don't bring any conflict into the guild, and if you wish to argue with someone take it to the PMs.

04. "ZOMG!! I accidently pressed the "Report Button", what going to happen?!"
Meh, this happens a lot to a lot of guilds. Nothing will happen.

05. How can I be a guild Moderator?
You can't. I pick those who a feel deserve it. So don't PM me, or go "HOMG!! WHY DID HE GET PICKED AND NOT MEEE?!!!11" or beg me for the job. Doing so will make me dislike you, plainly put.

Some threads might not be considered actual 'topics' and may be ralated to spam or advertisements.

Here at Spacers & Chasers We don't like unorganized or unindentified threads and advertisement/spam posts. If a Mod or Admin reconizes your post as being something that doesn't belong, we have a right to remove it or move it into a specific thread/forum made for that type of posting. As well as that, any vulgar or discriminiative threads shall be deleted!


These types may include:

+ Threads that make a direct or indirect attack on another member of this guild.

+ Threads that break any of the rules seen on the guild homepage, as well as anywhere stated on this thread.

- This includes posts that are against a religion. Anything for anti-christianity, and anti-religious statements are not tolerated in this guild. Those who post things of that subject shall be warned, and then have their post deleted with the threat of banning him or her.

+ Ad threads; that gives a link. Ex: "excellent opportunity for members!" (its a thread for a lottery). Ex2: "Check out my guild" (link to another guild).

In these cases, Mods will notify you and have the thread deleted and the ad moved to our "advertisements" thread. The advertisements thread is deadicated to your ads, and anyone can post an ad there.

However, we can also post a link to your guild through the links or "partnership guilds" on this page. All you have to do is send me a PM.

+ Unidentified or spam threads are also not tolerated. We have a thread for spamming called the "The Electronic Forum" and if you want to spam, go there. Unidentified threads includes titles like "Blah" or "Sup?" and has no real theme or value.

+ General SPAM posts are evil. Do you have any idea how unnerving it is to be having a decent conversation with a friend, and then someone pops out of nowhere and screams "BWAHAHAHAHA HEEHEHEHEIOHEHE!!" in your face?! Spam goes in the SPAM FORUM. If I see it anywhere else, I shall stab your eyes out with a spork.

+ Topics labled "I need a GF / BF!!!". If you're that desperate go join a romance RP or something.

+ Complaint threads. ("my best friends is really weird should i still hang out with her or what?!!1") I despise them, and will delete them. But, if they are in their proper forum, then that's okay.

Most of what has to be said here has already been said in one of the above posts.

As a Mod, you have the responsiblity to organize and monitor the guild as well as possible. If it wasn't for you guys, my job would be twice as hard.

---> Mods have the ability to delete any posts made by anybody. As well as edit them.

If you find a post that doesn't belong in a thread, delete it.
If you find a post that has spam in it, delete it.
If you find a post that has vulgar comments, delete it.
If you find a post that has labling/discrimination in it, delete it.
If you find a post that has craptacular spelling in it, delete it.
If you find a post that you don't like, delete it.

---> Mods also have the power to *gasp* ban people.

If you find that a person (member) has repeatedly broken the rules after you had warned them, do not hesitate to ban them.

If you find that a non-member has repeatedly broken the rules after you had warned them, report the post. Or report them to a Gaia Mod.

---> Mods can post stickies and announcements too.

Yes, Mods have the power to do this. But I don't suggest you over-use this privlage, for too many stickies make for an un-happy guild. If you post a stickie or annoucement, but it is getting few or no replies; I will delete. As goes with all posts made with non-Mod members.

I trust that a Moderator will be able to use his or her best judgement on all requirements. If you have any questions, problems, or troubling suituations, do not hesitate to PM me.
