But I do have the finished look.
I used some white yarn i think 4 worsted. I got it at walmart its called "Caron simply soft". In color white. I worked On size 8 needle.
I used the stockineete stich. With the purl side on the outside.
I casted on 44 stiches.
Then knitted it until it was about 8 inches long.
So when i fold it over it was 4 inches long and 6.5 inches wide.
I used a knit needled and just sewed the sides together. Left opening up top
The Lining was just some scrap of material. It was the same size of the knitt. 4 inches long. Probably 6 inches side.. The lining was 8 inches long so i folded that over then sewed up the sides. I sewed the zip up top, which was a 6 inch zipper.
So the lining was done. Basically fold in half sew the sides then sew the zip.
Next I put the lining in the knitted part. And attached the lining to the knitt. I sewed the two tops together each side. So I sewed one side of the lining to the same side of the knitt along the zipper. I did the same to the other side.
Sewed the knitt and the zip together.
(This is my version of the purse/bag) I just googled "knitted coin purse" and got a general idea.
