I may seem a bit strict when teaching but I'm really relaxed and rather easy to get along with once you really get to know the real me. I'm serious when teaching because I'm very eager to see all my students succeed. I would hate to see a student fail any of my classes. I'm the type of guy who loves to get out and explore and adventure off on my own. Though I wouldn't mind having someone join me to keep me from being lonely...any ladies interested? ...Moving on! I've been told I can be quite the charmer and gentleman. Many think I'm just doing it to attract woman but really that's just how I was raised. Treating woman with respect has always been one of my many morals to live by. My cleverness always seems to be the thing that gets me into trouble though. I'm a bit of a know-it-all but I try my best to keep it to myself.
My background story is...
I was born and raised in the City of Love, Paris. My mother, Alexis Rousseau, and my father, Enzo Chevalier, had meet during a visit to the French Ministry of Magic. My mother was seeking help from the Auror's because somebody had murdered her older brother, Charlies Rousseau. That day my father was working and assured her that they were going to do everything they could to help find who did it. It turned out after several weeks of investigating that her brother was murdered because of a debt that he didn't pay. The killer was captured but my mother was still very shaken from the whole ordeal. My father consoled her and did everything he could to cheer her up. Every now and then my father checked in with her and kept her company in her home. They had become close friends and then soon lovers. They married several months later and were very happy. Skipping to a few months later, I was finally born. They named me Tristan after my mothers father, Tristan Rousseau. I had a great childhood, my parents were very active in showing me everything there was about magic and the world around me. I absolutely loved it. We went on many vacations and got to see many amazing things. When I turned eleven I received my letter to attend Beauxbâtons. It was truly an honor to attend the school that both of my parents attended when they were young. I meet many very interesting people and studied many interesting things. Though the subject that really caught my attention was Defence Against the Dark Arts. Because my father was a Auror I had always been interested in doing whatever I could to protect others from those who devoted themselves to the Dark Arts. To be a Auror or a teacher was my goal in live. Luckily I reached both of my goals. When I graduated from school I got a job in the Ministry with my father as an Auror. It was quite an exciting life, until I got hurt on the job. I got splinched on the right side of my chest when in the middle of battle. I had to take some time off from being an Auror. My father suggested that I not come back. He was frightened that because I was to reckless when dueling that he might lose me. So in result he wanted me to find another job. I was furious, to give up on something that I loved just about killed me. I didn't know what else to do. Well that was until I received a letter from Beauxbâtons, it had asked me if I was interested in taking a job to be the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. I could never pass up this opportunity so I took the job right away and now here I am! I've been working there for around seven years now.

My pet is a I have a large brown barn owl. Her name is Quinn. She's quite loving but can be short tempered if she does not receive the attention that she wants.
Oh yes, there's something else I need to tell you! I have acquired full control of the Patronus Charm while in school. My Patronus takes the form of a Panther, he's quite sly, quick, and cunning. Much like me when I was a child!
