"No Restrictions" Author and Publisher: trufflesduval
Description from DANexus: This (Dragon Age 2) mod removes all (Attribute/Class/Character) restrictions for all weapons and armor. This mod DOES NOT change skill sets so using swords with a mage or a staff with a warrior would be without awesome skills. Another thing, this mod also DOES NOT remove character restrictions for your companion, only for you. You can use your companions weapons or anything that would normally be restricted to your companion on yourself. Sorry for any confusion.

Yeah, Nexus got a few good ones, mostly textures tho. Is the game that hard to break?
Bioware did a mess for tools from what I saw, which surprise me from them.
Might be an interesting mod for a replay. thanks!

Ugh, tell me about it. Not to much out there that is a real game changer yet. Unless you count the "Play as Elf" mods, that is. = ~ =; Work faster people that let me cheat for free! Gawd. You're welcome. Always happy to link to a nice piece of work. On a forum I was in some one was trying to workout a mod that lets a male Hawke Romance Sebastian but noted that Bioware really changed things up in DA2, so I'm assuming it is alot more complicated then it once was. A shame really.

Bioware used to be so user friendly with Never winter ngihts. We had the developper toolset for christ sake.
What I've seen (sadly so little) of da2 programming was just strange to me.
Things are strange, if you are familiar with modding or programming, the deeper you go in, it is like a tree, in the "apple tree" you know that the deeper you get you will still get something related to an "apple" (replace apple with item/ texture/event/ability etc)
Now I go in an apple tree when I look at da 2 and I find some oranges...and the apple I'm looking for is in a god damn banana tree.
It almost as if they did it on purpose, hard to find the files you look for, or even then when you decompress them you go:WTF?
I'd need to download the item pack for my pc version, maybe they would give me a good insight at how they applies in the game. And how they are textured, how it is seperated.
I lost my touch. lol
They have no "cooked" to start with, that's never a user friendly sign for modding.
