It had only been a few days since Aludra had grown, and he remained nervous about his behaviour, especially the last time he'd been around his ex-lover. After all, considering what he had done, he did not believe that he deserved any kind of forgiveness. It was one of those days that he spent laying on the futon of his teacher's apartment that he had an epiphany - a memory of some strange pillow talk, following a night that he wished never to forget.
Luthor. Was that his name? He couldn't quite remember. At least, not specifically. What he did remember is that the man could grant wishes by payment of memories. So what better was there than to offer him a memory as the wish itself?
It was enough to motivate him out of bed, cause him to immediately run to the park that she'd met him at - the park near the Facility that he prayed the man would be at. The spawn spoke to each of the people he ran into at the park, asking for a man with white hair, a man offering to grant wishes. Aludra got all sorts of reactions. He got looked at like he was crazy, negatives, and the responses that he had been hoping for: Positive ones, pointing him slowly in the direction of the one he was looking for.
Finally, he came upon someone who appeared to be from the same place he was, though looked nothing like any of the other children he had ever before seen. White hair, small white wings, teal scales... it was so strange. Steeling his nerve as well as his inherit shyness, he stepped up to the man, softly clearing his throat for attention. "He-hello. I... I hear th-that you can gr-grant w-wishes."

Luthor was sitting on his bench, or it might as well be as often as he sat on it. People no longer seemed to sit on it when he was due to be there and when they were there it was only because they were waiting for him. Some even waited overnight from what he'd gathered from a woman today, wanting to be the first one there and for her he'd only been to happy to help given the subject matter as well as payment.
Leaning back on the bench, careful not to squish his wings, he was starring into the pretty pink crystal watching the scene as it played out before him. So beautiful, imagine having a voice like that, being able to sing like that, Opera she'd said she used to sing. He was drawn out of the recital when he heard another voice, this one not singing, this one was something else, a shy and stuttering voice. He blinked his eyes to come out of his trance before his hand closed around the gem in a protective manner, "You heard that I grant wishes? Perhaps." He said, scooting over and motioned to him, "Sit." He gave a bright smile as he invited a potential customer standing before him, another spawn as well, that his reputation among them was spreading made him happy. How many had he met with now? Quite a few.
He tucked the pink crystal away into the pouch around his neck, his wings gave a flutter, and he merely waited for his customer to talk. The atmosphere around him was a pleasant and gentle one, one that would make a person feel comfortable and ready to speak with him... to tell him their heart's desire... something he grew in power, helping others reach their dreams.

The soft smile that came to Aludra's face was a hesitant and unexpected one, a smile that would normally be accompanied by one of his sweet little nervous laughs, though it was left be at this point. "W-we-well, either you or s-someone else, a-a-and you s-seem the most li-ikely c-cant-tidate," he joked softly, glancing at the seat that was offered to him, lengthy tail scraping across the ground. Some part of him was nervous about taking that seat but then, since when was that part of him not nervous about something? Raising his tail up a bit, he sat gingerly on the edge of the seat, still looking awkward, the smile since faded from his face. "A-after all, wh-what I be-believe t-to be y-your work on m-my... ex-l-lover is no-othing sh-short of a miracle... and c-certainly nothing but m-magic."
The silence was drawn out, likely, much longer than either of them had initially been anticipated. Aludra was never one to speak out of turn, let alone speak without prompting, and thusly was content to sit with his eyes on the ground, hands gently pressed palm-to-palm between his knees. His eyes easily found themselves distracted, following people, lingering on the brave flowers that dared poke their heads so early from the hardened earth, daffodils breaking into the world with their violently yellow petals, faces to the sky, ready to weather anything the early spring was to throw at them. Silently, he envied their resolve.
More than them, he envied the people he had the misfortune of letting his gaze settle upon. Young families. A beautiful, young woman sitting with an equally pretty young man, the sweetest of little children sitting between the two of them, looking confused, yet happy. A slightly older couple with a distinct roundness to the woman, a three-year-old between both of them, one finger held in each of her hands. There was so much joy in her little face when her parents would count to three before lifting her up in the air, carrying her over sidewalks, bumps, curbs, flowers...
Quietly, the man buried his face into his hands, shoulders trembling with the effort to keep back tears that desperately tried to escape. In a voice that was weak yet audible - he knew it had to be audible - he finally broke the silence between the two of them. "I w-w-want my f- my f-family back..."

The first thing that came to mind for Luthor was wanting to ask him who his lover was and what wish he'd granted for that person... but decided it was neither here nor there at the moment, this person was here for his own wish and it would be rude of him to delve to much into his business when it came to his ex. That he said what he'd done was a miracle, he liked the sound of that given there were days that he worried about his own powers and if he were doing enough good with them.
There was, for a time, a lot of silence between the two of them. The one next to him sat quietly, starring down at the ground seeming as though his attention were caught by something on the ground. It took some time, time that it seemed this spawn was in need of, before he spoke again and Luthor gave the slightest of winces, "I... see." He murmured, giving a smile, "I understand the desire for a family but I am unable to use my powers to sway the feelings of others." He said, wanting for him to know straight away that he couldn't force his ex-lover to take him back, his powers weren't for changing the emotions of others, even if he could do it he wouldn't do it.
"If there is something else, I will help you, but I have some rules I must follow and being unable to change another person's emotions is one of the things I am unable to do. Please, forgive me." He said, hoping that he wouldn't be to upset by his inability.

When the other took his miserable statement literally, Aludra couldn't help the slight chuckle that past his lips, despite the wetness in his eyes. He shook his head slightly, fidgeting a bit with a necklace that he had gotten a few weeks earlier, commemorating an event that he hadn't been invited to. He shook his head, trying to clear up what was apparently a misunderstanding. "N-n-no, I d-didn't expec-expect you to f-f-fix that..." he murmured, voice raspy despite its softness.
"Th-there... th-there's a me-memory th-that I need you t-to t-t-take," he spoke after another few moments of silence, tri-coloured eyes fastened to the ground at his feet. Briefly, he glanced up toward the male sitting beside him, but he didn't hold the gaze, trying to swallow down the sickening (and very suddenly surfacing) implications of the phrase 'he made me into a woman'. He hadn't even thought of that as a possibility until seeing the male who had 'repaired' his beloved.
"'Course, s-s-since tha-at's what you u-usually ch-charge, I'm n-not sure wh-what I w-would be able t-to pay... th-though I s-suppose I could g-give you an-nother memory, if... if that's wh-what you would want?" Aludra offered weakly, already expecting his suggestion to be turned down completely, long tail wrapped around his body, the tip of it tapping idly against his thigh.
