Now, this is the new thread for Guild Group Events and Activities. Feel free to nominate anything you feel would be a fun activity or event for us as a guild to engage in.
My thoughts so far... - House Parties - Games/Puzzles - ... What can you think of??

Since Christmas is right around the corner, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a guild secret Santa thing? It could just be something small, maybe a 10k limit? Or for the artists out there, a gift of art? I thought it would be fun to have a little anonymous gift exchange in the guild since the anon gifting isn't as much fun anymore with the way Gaia events are now. It wouldn't be quite the same thing since everyone would be assigned a name but still...
I don't know, what does everyone think? If enough people are interested I'll make a thread and set it up.

The trouble with events is usually getting people enough people interested that it would be worth doing. If you get enough interested people I may be in, though. Also consider, however, that with a limit that low, there's also the possibility that everyone will spend 10 K and no one will wind up with anything that they really wanted, because... Well, there hasn't been anything that cheap on my wishlist for years.

As for the limit, I didn't know what to put for it, I'm open to suggestions.

As for the limit, I didn't know what to put for it, I'm open to suggestions. There is just one thing, though. Xmas is everywhere, and (while I obviously don't agree with it's pseudo-Christian root) even spiteful bastards like me need a day-off, and so I do agree with the idea of having one day a year when we try to overlook a lot of our fellow humans flaws and give ourselves over to a time of humanism. By January, I will have exhausted myself with the effort and can return to my hateful ways all over again. But I digress... My point is that I agree with the secular humanist ideals of Xmas, so I don't mind that it's going on all over the place, but here, there is the guilds anniversary in Deccember... And it's only here. It's nowhere else. What I'm trying to establish is that while I don't begrudge X-mas its fame is interest in guild events is hard to muster here and if we are trying to rally everyone for something, it should be for the guild anniversary, specially since this is the fifth. I hoped that it would be special, but really I've just about given up on planning events, due to past recurrent failures.

It doesn't have to be a Christmas gift exchange, we can do a guild birthday gift exchange instead. 3nodding Same concept, just a better reason, yeah?

Saber Talawyrm Hmm, a zomg night, if anyone even plays. Although, I suppose that could fall under games. Well considering people would be a various CLs, the best place to really meet up would be barton town. We'd need to get people on different layers and "pull" users on the wrong layer to the right one. From there, I suppose people could make crews depending on what they want to get done and go off and do something or just hang out in barton and do random stuff razz
