This week we watched a Jackie Chan comedy/action film set in Spain. What did you think of the movie? Love it, hate it, something in between? Please share your opinions with us.

I loved the movie. I really enjoy the silly slap-stick comedy and the hokey voice overs. It's possible I'm a bit biased though since I'm a Jackie Chan fan. The biggest disappointment about the film for me is the lack of outtakes during the credits.

Saber Pendragon The biggest disappointment about the film for me is the lack of outtakes during the credits. My biggest disappointment was the really poor turn out we had. I have some rather emphatic "where were you"s to issue to a few members that I had thought of as highly dependable. Outtakes would have been fantastic, though. I was expecting it to be a worse movie, originally. Really, it was more your average kung-fu movie, instead of something that was total s**t. Honestly, where it given a serious subbing, I would have thought it watchable. What they really must do is go find something truly and unsalvageable wretched. The Plan Nine from Outer Space of Kung Fu movies and inject their wackiness into that, instead... But this was still funny. I have to say, I rather liked Moby's character. He easily had the best fashion sense, though I'm not sure why he got picked on quite so much. Also in random notes, Jacki Chan has aged fantastically.

Heh, I wonder why you feel that way about Moby's style? It's definitely not the movie to watch if you are looking for anything other than a laugh. I am really curious to see just how bad Plan Nine from Outer Space is now.

I am really curious to see just how bad Plan Nine from Outer Space is now. Because at one point he was wearing a black suit, with a black fedora (with a black band) and white gloves with a narrow white tie. Granted it was just one scene, but that is some pretty serious style! Ed Wood was voted by some recognized as the worst director of all time and Plan Nine was voted his worst film, thus the worst film of all time. If you're looking for a bad movie, sometime, watch it. In fact, maybe we'll wind up watching it here, if it gets nominated.

I may have to put it on my Netflix list if we don't end up watching it here.

You're always welcome to nominate it yourself if you'd like, but be quick about it. I plan on putting the poll up again, tonight.

I have a hard time getting the proper tone to come across when typing sometimes.

I came across an interesting tidbit while looking into the City Hunter film. I had been wondering why the movie was called "Wheels on Meals" when it would have made much more sense to call it "Meals on Wheels." Apparently it was due to Hong Kong superstition, the previous two Golden Harvest films which had American titles that began with M had recently flopped so they decided to reverse the title.
