I think I did read that 100% of the donations go to Japan relief aid. Unlike what Gaia has done in the past. But still, I prefer to donate directly. I just feel better that way.

I honestly don't like getting stuff for donating. The whole pink ribbon/breast cancer awareness thing makes me sick. Just a big reminder that almost all of us have lost someone we loved to cancer. Then they celebrate it with fluffy pink boas and parades... Ugh. Well, that has nothing to do with Japan. I guess I just wanted to rant.

I don't have the items. Though I did previously donate through another website. ( I'm /slight/ iffy about how Red Cross goes about doing things. )

I'm not particularly a fan of those 'donate and get so and so thing to show you did in fact do it'. But I'm not saying it's bad. It's quite nice to see people do care though and are actively trying to help. c:
