The Grand Law

Ten of the simplest rules of The Luminarium!

I.) Be respectful! No slander! No rude remarks! Save catfights for the alleys.
II.) Going around and playing a god can be fun. But you should that in your own personal free time when NO ONE is around. Do you know what happens to godmodders on here? They DIE.
III.) Be intellectual! Try not to sound like a fool when you write-- that means excessive swearing or completely pointless and infernal actions in posts or OOC.
IV.) Follow the laws of nature. Even in Fantasy guilds, things have to work in some theoretical way.
V.) Cybering? That's so 1999; but for all intensive purposes, TRY not to get banned if you feel the urge.
VI.) You can kill other characters!
....If they give you their explicit permission. And if they don't, I'll come and kill YOU.
VII.) If there's problem with somebody, tell someone-- especially them. If they don't stop, then I'll destroy them.
VIII.) PG-13. Need I say more? If it gets out of hand-- I'm not the one who'll be unhappy, but rather Gaia will be unhappy and will promptly delete you from existence. How saddening.
X.) Have fun!

The Three easy steps to finding your way around the Luminarium!

So! You've stepped into the Luminarium, not quite knowing where to go, and what to do. Luckily the Grand Law can direct you to wherever you'd like to go!
Below is a few steps and links on how to begin.


I.)
First! It's well advised that you take a look around. Nothing helps more than to test the waters. You'll find that the Guild is split up into different regions of the world Eternum, with each of these sections holding a particular Genre. For example, the Region: [Ruanis De Mortem] is a Role-play zone representing the Blood Horror of the world Aeternum. You can find a list of all zones and their short descriptions in the [The Grande Atlas].

II)
Once you've found an area that fits your particular taste, you can look at the various places in that area. Each of these smaller places are fitted with a unique story which a character can participate in. Usually these storylines involve something to be figured out, so in a way, each place has its own secrets. Your character becomes more and more influential towards the storyline the more that your character posts. Of course, if you choose and area but you also like another plot, or change your mind, you can switch over and bring your character to another zone at any time. (Just be sure to include this in your post.)

III)
Now that you have a specific area or a set of areas that you find intriguing, now is the stage where you can create your own character! You can find the character creation area in the [The Origins of Existence] thread. The rules on creating a character will be posted there, as to make sure everything goes smoothly. Once your character is created and approved, you can take this written soul and plop it in a particular place, where it can move across all of the other regions, or stay in one place to figure out the mystery behind that zone. As long as you specify where you're going and how you got there, it's all up to you what you do from there; what decisions your character makes, and how they react to certain instances.
But whatever you do, your actions ripple across how each story grows and concludes.
