Tell them all to never fear Tell them what they want to hear Tell them all the blissfull lies Watch them leave with hopeful eyes...
Eric Halen Your Fortune awaits --------------------------- After Selael told Eric what to do, Eric nodded. He began to do exactly what he was told. Drawing a fancy circle wasn't exactly a piece of cake though. He kept glancing at the paper ever so slightly to try and taking in details. Good thing he played it off as just observing the streets around. While Selael seemed to know what he was doing, Eric had never been in a figt before. The closest thing to a battle he had been in was trying to fix the Valdigraph house fire. Eric sighed, trying to get every detail right. While doing so, It seemed as though Anatares had finally joined in on the little fight. That's when Eric had a vision, though it most definately wasn't soon enough. "Oh god." He said, turning to the inn. When it collapsed, Eric wasn't exactly surprised, since he had seen it coming, but it still hit hard.
Eric tried to continue drawing the circle, but the collapsed inn was quite a bit to deal with, emotionally. Eric didn't know what to do. There was a fight, and he was only armed with a cheap dagger, the ability to tell the future, and a weakened version of other abilities on the psychic spectrum. He didn't even have his crystal ball. He was close to pathetic. Of course, then again, he could actually be quite useful. Fortune telling was his specialty. He was going to stop this fight, and make sure no one else was killed, if anyone was killed in the first place. ...Let them waste their wealth on you though you say what isn't true Go and live to your delight The fortune teller strikes tonight

To live like you is such a dream Your silver voice and golden gleam Remaining unscratched by the sand All shall wish to hold your hand...
Fiore Halen The shining star of Aden --------------------------- Looking back at the inn with wide eyes, Fiore felt himself getting a little angry. Who were these two? Not the purple haired copy cat or the pyromancer, but the other two? What were they trying to accomplish. One thing that Fiore had taken in was that the purple haired man seemed to know about the inn before anyone else had. How odd. That curious bit aside, the inn's destruction meant the death of his fangirls. "What the hell!" He yelled out at the one who had destroyed the inn. He growled, and looked back at the purple haired man and the pyromancer. Maybe the inn was a necesary loss, or maybe it was all an illusion. That was a possibility. Fiore decided that was the case, and blocked the event from his mind.
With that little mental conflict done and over with, it was time for Fiore to really show what he could do. The sand around him began to rise up, and swirl around him. After alot of it had risen, floating around the noble, Fiore extended his arm. The sand went flying ahead. Fiore knew that it would be a distraction to the two, and that it could get in their eyes and ruin their accuarcy, but what he didn't know was that it could also mess up the circle the two happened to be drawing. ... It's a wonder how you hide The cunning plot on the inside Go and take what you still can The crown shall go to the noble man

Selael The Pyromancer
"It's the Quiet Ones you have to watch out for..." Selael saw the pompous jerk fling sand at the circle... This could be inconvenient. If it lands, it might settle on the ground around him... He held up his hands and stopped for a moment, finally displaying a show of true skill in Pyromancy. "Ignus Magnum!" Spreading his hands out to either side, what appeared to be a giant blade made of fire formed and shot out toward both the sand and the puppet. If it successfully made impact with the sand, it would not only turn it to glass, but it'd diminish the kinetic energy and possibly change the direction it's moving in... Not to mention it would actually damage the puppet the great flame would smash into.
At this time, though, his progress on the circle will have halted, hobbling about trying to keep his balance... He would need to wait a little bit before getting started on it again. He watched his giant flame rage its way toward the puppet and the sand, hoping for the best, but not exactly expecting it... As things always are in battle.

Antares Skyvehn and Cornerstone Puppeteer of the Guardian Wish - Sandveil's Servant
"Kill the pyromancer, puppeteer." Cornerstone commanded, turning to the direction Fiore and Eric. "The narcissistic delusional seem to know a little bit of magic but his ways are vague." She added after examining the sand-controlling ability of the latter. She then moved on forward to them as Fiore flung the sand towards them. She raised her hand and then immediately made a snap of her fingers. Suddenly, the sand "shattered" and then fell at the ground lifelessly. "Do not interfere." She added with a dangerous tone and then made yet another snap.
"Ignus Magnum." Selael exclaimed. Suddenly, a giant blade made of searing heat shot towards Antares and his puppet. At once, the puppeteer moved his fingers and the puppet moved towards the back and disappeared with a short "pop". Then, Antares pulled out yet another scroll and then spread it out. "Maurion, Henrietta!" He called out loud. At once, a massive-sized male puppet jumped out of the scroll and then smashed the ground with his gigantic fists; the ground in front of them shattered and then raised from the ground, blocking the majestic flame sent by Selael. Then, a woman bearing a slender figure jumped next to Maurion; at once, she grabbed Antares and then made one swift skip. Within a matter of moments, they were several meters away from the burning flames of Selael. "Away, Maurion!" Antares called out loud, moving his finger quickly. The puppet responded by running out of the burning explosion that the flaming blade created.
All of the sudden, the ground shook. Then, the very earth that they were all standing at shattered into large chunks of earth and then wobbled all over the place. It rose from the ground and created numerous levels and platforms around the area. Within a matter of moments, the shattered ruins engulfed everything and everyone. It was the effect of Cornerstone's earlier snap.

Selael The Pyromancer
"It's the Quiet Ones you have to watch out for..." Selael saw the fire dodged with incredible ease and the sands simply collapsing... Well, so far, nothing was out of the ordinary. He was facing down ridiculously powerful people and one of his flashier attacks didn't work. No surprises here... And nothing to worry about. That wasn't his style anyway... He kept limping about in a circle... He was half concerned about Hoata for a moment, but he then realized that she was on the top floor... She'd likely have survived the collapse and could get out safely. Him charging to her rescue would only make things worse and make her into a potential target. He hobbled around and continued work on the circle... With any luck, Hoata will get out soon and he'll finish the circle...

Feel it, breathe it, believe it and You'll be walking on air. Go try, go fly so high and You'll be walking on air.
 Hoata
Hoata didn't question Selael. If this was going to get ugly, she wanted to get far enough so that she wouldn't get involved. Why exactly was Antares hired to kill Selael and who was he. She thought he was just a simple performer. She watched Sel and the others exit the inn. "This won't be good.." she mumbled softly to herself. Suddenly the hair on the back of her neck stood up. Something didn't feel right in here and she quickly wanted to get out. She heard the structure around her start ripping apart along with the screams of the people inside. She took off toward the door and dove out on to the hot sand out side. She looked back at the inn just in time to see it shatter apart and fall in to a pile of rubble. The screams were no more making her heart sink into the pit of her stomach.
Hoata looked over at the scene now displayed before her. Her eyes widened as Selael used his pyromancy to send a giant blade of fire at Antares. Her eyes widened at the sight of it. She had never seen such magic being used in such away before. She then quickly pulled herself onto her feet and took a couple steps back. Hoata could only stand back and watch as the fight goes one before her. She just hoped that the fight would end quickly and neither one of them would die.
You feel this, unless you kill it - Go on and you're forgiven. I knew, that I could feel that - I feel like I'm walking on air.
