As reported on ESPN today, Tiki Barber has filed paperwork to come out of retirement. Different reports are flying around it, some of it revolving about his recent divorce. But, he says he's been working out and is ready to "get it done."
The Giants still own his rights, but have not stated whether they are going to keep him (probably not) or release him to test the market when and if it finally opens.
What do you think? Tiki Barber back in action in 2011: like it or hate it?

I've always liked Tiki Barber, He was an awesome running back. But he's been out of the game for 4 years, and will be turning 36 years old this April. 36 is old for a running back, so you have to wonder, even if age won't slow him down, 4 years of rust probably will.
I think best case scenario for Tiki would be to be picked up by a team with a new, rookie running back, and have him serve as a back up/mentor for one, maybe two seasons if lucky, take minimum snaps in games, and just be a complimentary back to whoever will be the starter.

Tiki still has something in the tank if you ask me. The place for him to land that makes the most sense is Tampa Bay, for the right price. He would be a nice back-up for Blount. Blount put the ball on the ground more than a few times last season while he rushed for over 1,000 yds. If Tiki could show him ho to better carry the ball, and contribute then it would be a great pick up.
Tiki's twin brother has been a Buccaneer his entire career. Ronde is alos very good friends with HC Raheem Morris so that could help get his brother into pewter and red.
