It's amazing how easily
you make me smile,
when an ordinary day
turns out fine,
to have you near,
to hold you dear,
you make me laugh along the mile
even when i don't want to smile.
It's so easy for you
to keep me away from blue,
when you stammer
and you ran out of clue,
that you make me smile
even if i don't want to.
Has it never made you wonder
how you smile, i'm flying
'cause you make me smile,
when you're not even trying?
You make me smile
more than anyone else in the world.
It makes me wonder
you make me smile like no other,
even if i've known you for just a while,
it's not that the words were right
or things were perfectly bright,
a simple day is filled with light,
when you're the one who makes me smile
and that makes things alright.
You make me smile
in good or bad days, rain or shine,
your smile has always been my sunshine
when the clouds filled my sky,
the moment you part your lips
smile at me, and make me smile.
You make me smile
not knowing when, how or why,
if i try to answer, i would wonder why
why you're the one who makes me smile?
For you should know,
you're the reason for my smile.
