How long have you known Steamworks I have been aware of it since it started, but never really got more involved than stalking and posting that I liked things every once in a while. You know, ‘proper lurker’ status, with a little bit of ‘friendly rainbow critique’ thrown in a for good measure.
How many punks do you have I coloured one once… but I never posted him because I didn’t think he was good enough when I was done with him. But I regret that, and I can’t seem to find him now. He was Occello though, and I might just redraw him.
Are you familiar with the story so far I have read the front page and most of the guild… Hell, I even spent a better portion of an hour trying to translate the Latin on the front page. XD …
The Position
Why would you like this position Because it’s Steampunk, and it’s well graphic’d and it’s awesome… Well it is. But I guess mostly because it gives me a chance to rp and run events without having to wait for myself to finish art… and I don’t have to make cert corrections or wonder if the bird that I coloured is as pretty as the birds that I have coloured in the past… I think most of what holds me back at StoneCrest is the fact that I don’t get my own art out soon enough for me to be able to run all the events that I want to. I think that I once referred to my head as a ‘plot parking lot’ where all the plots just sit waiting to have something done with them… and here on Gaia, I’ve discovered that most people don’t read a post unless it has art in it… not having to do individual character art or certing would make it a thousand times easier for me to organize meta information or informational posts… or CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURES! I love doing those… they make me laugh.

Do you have any ideas for things you would like to do Like when I applied for StoneCrest, I have all kinds of ideas, but it’s better to get a feel for the current players before I come up with definite solutions. I like to make sure that there’s a place for everyone in an rp… especially since the pets are CYO. I mean, I realize saying 'yes I have lots of ideas' is sort of a copout, but I feel stupid saying something definite, like, "Two Occello are trying to fly a steam operated biplane over the low end of the mountain range when the change in air temperature causes them to crash into Xeric lands. They're captured and forced to beg for their lives, until the Xeric look closer at the biplane and discover that maybe the Occello could create something tank-like for the Xeric to use, and so they try to force the two Occello to build war machinery... but even though one Occello is excited at the prospect of building anything, the other is against the war in general... this leads to a falling out between the two Occello... a minor war to get back the one Occello... a rogue Occello trying to build complex steam driven war equipment for the Xeric just for the thrill of the build... yaddah yaddah...." I mean, I could go on and on and on, but unless I get a feel for who's playing and what their characters suit, I feel silly making very specific plots.
Scenario
~ A user makes a cosplay with the ticket they got and posts it, then, a user who had made the cosplay with a ticket in the past (but either couldn't find or didn't update the list so the new user would know) raises a fuss because they've been 'copied'. How do you resolve this situation?
I am always available for questions via pm, or in the thread, or over aim (which I make available to everyone). If someone couldn’t find the update list then they should have asked, and I (or another threadgoer) would have been glad to help them. The Wiki clearly states “Any claimed character left at under 50% or without an image for proof of progress for over 2 months will re-classified as Undecided. Undecided cosplays that have been inactive for two months may be claimed by another user with a ticket.” And the reason we have rules is to keep order, to reduce drama and to make sure that everyone knows where they stand in the gaia world that has been created here for them.
