Okay first things first, I would like you to post a copy of your profile here and we will go over basic strategy and tactics with your character. Following that I will be putting you through practical applications with said strategies. The third step will be in describing the actual combative scene. The final step will involve a Mock battle between your jonin and my Sanin. When I feel that you have a grasp of everything then you shall graduate with honors at the top of your class...which shouldn't be terribly difficult, after all, you are the only member in it.

Ah yes, well subtlety is an art I practice in moderation. My first choice was Silly Squadron does the Noodle Dance, but I figured this would work better. From what I gather you have decided to split your focus between Genjutsu and Kenjutsu, correct? Now the basic strategy would be to confuse your foes with genjutsu and either plant bugs on them or to attack with your blade.

Now your first task is to give me a three step combo of techniques to deal with an enemy nondescript chunin. another 3-step combo to deal with an enemy nondescript Jonin. Finally, I want a 4-step combo to deal with two nondescript Chunin. a simple listing of jutsu will be fine, I don't require an rp sample at this time. We'll do some basic strategy work by fine tuning choices in normal situations and then work on coming up with unusual strategies at a later time.

I apologize for the wait. I also apologize for not clarifying things. From now on if I refer to a ninja as "Nondescript" or "Generic" I refer to a ninja with no shinobi types. no profession, and no bloodline. I'm really describing a npc, like a gate guard, that RPC's generally casually kill off as if they are nothing.

Generally speaking, Strategy in an rpg starts at character creation. Essentially, a character is designed for a singular purpose such as the healer, the tank, the dps, or any minor variation thereof. Every aspect of this character is designed for that one purpose, that one strategy, and any tactics that will work well with the character.

Regardless of whether the Greatsword is a matter of convenience for your character, Genjutsu and Kenjutsu are your primary strategies. Your profession assists you with genjutsu and your speed ninja type is more geared to your Kenjutsu rather than Genjutsu. The Tactical shinobi type works well with both, so you don't really have any issues there however I would of replaced this one with Combo user for the ability to "Layer" Genjutsu. As support you have Ninjutsu and your Bug Jutsu from your clan. With that many abilities with your character in the beginning you have made yourself incredibly versatile and yet weaker in overall power. Your greatest asset is your genjutsu. I say this on the basis that most people learn Kai and forget about everything else. In that respect, I have to say that Genjutsu users have become OP but that's a discussion for another time.

Now your next step is a bit of a practical exam. I will be acting as a Generic Jounin with Suiton and Katon as his elements. In the following paragraph I will be creating the scene and your objective is to Kill me within six posts. This first paragraph does not count as a post but the next six will. I will be examining your tactics and the description of your actions. The rules are simple:
1. Kill the ninja within 6 posts
2. Use anything and everything to your advantage. If you can use his own attack against him, do so with no hesitation.

It had been easy for Kanagi Matsuya to sneak into Kumogakure, and even more so surprising for him to escape with almost no resistance. Normally the entrance and exit of shinobi wasn't an Issue but when one is from another village like Kirigakure and has just stolen the prized Jade statue of the First Raikage, a powerful totem with immeasurable power in the right hands, it certainly speaks little towards security. He had already descended down the mountain and was making his way through the nearby valley as he headed towards the nearby port town in an attempt to escape back to his village.

"What fools! They didn't even have any shinobi guarding this thing." Matsuya said as he glanced at the statue. "I bet they won't even know it's missing, hell even if they send someone they'll probably be just as incompetent in combat as the whole village was at security." Having ran non-stop from the village, the Kanagi had grown tired and needed to rest. Stopping in a clearing next to a stream, Matsuya knelt down and drank from the stream before taking a seat. Opening his pack he pulled out a couple ration bars, which while tasting terrible, did fill you up and give the necessary daily vitamins needed to be in tip-top shape. Even though he was resting and feeding himself, he made sure to be wary of his surroundings and kept his senses open for any noise, no matter how small, that could hint at an attacker lying in wait.

First rule of thumb when training or fighting: Quote the jutsu's name, effects, and rank after your post. Second rule of thumb: Post your chakra points as Current/Maximum. This way, it will limit the amount of searching your opponent has to do to figure out what you are doing and you can keep track of your chakra use. Third rule: List all weapons and items you have on you in an itemized list so that you can keep track of just how many shuriken and Kunai you are throwing around. Note how I list it below:

A soft squeak uttered from the bushes and a squirrel leapt out and ran up a nearby tree. "A squirrel, that's all? and here I thought they would have at least sent someone after me to retrieve the statue. What a weak village, I'll probably suggest to the Mizukage to invade and take it over for their resources." he said, still wary of any surprises. "I might as well continue on so as to put more distance between that place. I don't want to be infected by it's uselessness."

However, the Kunoichi from Kumogakure had a head start and completed the handseals just as he launched the kunai. The clouds swiftly darkened as a blizzard suddenly struck the area. The snow began to pile up and quickly encompassed his feet and all the way to his knees. The blasts of wind that struck him were as chilly as those of the time he went to Yuki no Kuni for that blind date. The Kanagi found himself involuntarily shuddering due to the sudden cold creaping in. "Snow Jutsu? I thought she was from Kumogakure. How the hell did they get their hands on that closely guarded secret?" He muttered through his quickly cracking lips. He tried to peer through the blinding snowfall but couldn't see much more than a few feet in front of himself.

Second, we'll need to test you with a more difficult opponent During each round of combat, I will go over various other things you could do instead of what action you took. The most important thing for combat in general, is to do what is most effective. In order to do so, you need to open your eye to a variety of different methods to reach the same objective.
