Meister and Weapon Missions
Below is the system for Meister and Weapon Missions. These are important as they increase your word count, affect your Madness, and overall are a good way to build bonds with your partner.

How Missions are Divided
All the missions are divided. If you go to the mission bulletin, you will notice that it is divided by rank. You can take a lower level mission, but you cannot take a higher level mission. For instance, if you are a Freshman you could take a Newbie mission, but if you are a Newbie you cannot take a Freshman mission. If, for some reason, you and your partner are different ranks, then you must take the lower rank's missions. Within each rank, there will be a list of missions. Next to the mission, it will say where the mission is, in other words which subforum you will need to go to. The subforum will be hyperlinked. If the mission is in red, that means someone has already taken it. Next to the mission, it will state the team that is completing the mission. If the mission is failed, it will become available for another to try. After three failed attempts, the mission will be taken off of the mission bulletin. If the mission is available, it will be in green. PM myself (preferably) or another mod to take this mission and the color will be changed and you and your partner will be listed as having taken the mission.

Word Count and Missions
As I mentioned, Word Count plays a role in missions. Each mission has a set number of words which can be gained. This is why it isn't the best idea to do a lower ranked mission. For instance, an easy Newbie mission may be worth 150 words (1 stat point), and a harder Newbie mission may be worth 450 words. As the missions get harder, the word count increases. No matter what, the words gained for success will ALWAYS be at least one stat point for the given rank. BUT if you do a lower level mission, you gain a fraction of the words to level up (for instance, a Sophomore doing an easy Newbie mission would gain 150 words, which is half a stat point for them). So while you can do lower level missions, it's not the best way to level up.

Madness and Missions
Madness? This is not Madness. THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!! Now that I've got that out of my system, I'll explain Madness to missions and ultimately why you would ever want to take a lower level mission.
Each mission will tell you how much your Madness percent will increase by. The harder the mission, the more your Madness increases by. A very hard mission could make your Madness rise by 15%, and an easy mission could have your Madness rise by 3%. Now, here's why you would take a lower ranked mission. THE ONLY MISSIONS WHICH CAN DECREASE YOUR MADNESS LEVEL ARE NEWBIE, CLASSMATE, AND FRESHMAN MISSIONS. All the upper level missions are guaranteed to increase your Madness. But fear not! For you can take a lower level mission, you just won't gain as many words (you can also train with a teacher, so yeah... But read about Madness for that.)

Post Count for Missions
Each mission will have a set number of posts required to finish the mission. An easier mission may have 3 posts (6 posts total between the Meister and Weapon) and a harder mission may have 10 posts (20 posts total between Weapon and Meister). The post number stated is the number which each person of the team must post. YOU WILL NOT COMPLETE THE MISSION UNLESS YOU TYPE OUT ALL OF THESE POSTS WITH AT LEAST 100 WORDS PER POST. If you type less than 100 words for one of these posts, it will not count. And if you have 97-99 words I will round up and it will count. But 96 doesn't count. If you type, say, 50 words then you will have to post again until you get enough posts that are all over 100 words. Which is worth it, if you think about a 10 post mission, 10 times 100 = 1000 plus however many words you would gain for success.

Failing Missions
I hate being the bearer of bad news, but you can fail a mission. Needless to say, if you fail a mission, you do not gain any words for succeeding. But you do get to keep any words gained through RPing up until you fail. However, Newbies through Freshman CANNOT FAIL MISSIONS. Be ecstatic, because you can't fail until you're a Sophomore.
When you are a Sophomore, you will see that there is a percent chance of success by each mission. A harder mission has a lower chance of success, easier mission has a higher chance of success. A really easy mission may have a chance of success of 95%, and a harder one may have a 50% or lower chance of success. Pick your mission wisely, but note that the lower the chance of success, the more words gained for succeeding.
How to fail. With each post (if the mission is able to be failed) you and your partner must generate a number between 1 and 100. If the number is below the chance of success, then you succeed. If it is above, then you fail. For instance, if there is a 75% chance of success and you generate a 74, then you pass. 76, and you fail. YOU MUST DO THIS WITH EACH POST. One post, you may pass but the next, if you generate a higher number, you fail. This may seem cruel, but it is more realistic. Living life on the edge! There will not be any mission with a chance of success lower than 50% until Graduate, so rest easy (a bit)

ExampleThe following is an example for the layout of missions:
Mission Bulletin: Newbie Missions: Too Easy?: A weak Kishin egg has been roaming L.A. Taken by Ralphie and Bill Location: Los Angeles, United States Madness: Decrease 5% Posts: 2 Word Reward: 150
Classmate Missions: Love Hurts: Defeat a heart-sick Kishin egg who has been killing young women. Location: Paris, France Madness: Increase 10% Posts: 6 Word Reward: 300
Freshman Missions: Murder on the Nile: A Kishin Egg has been killing citizens and throwing them into the Nile River. Taken by Crazy Redd and Mary-Sue Location: Cairo, Egypt Madness: Increase 15% Posts: 10 Word Reward: 450
Sophomore Missions: Would You Like Some Tea with That?: A Kishin Egg has been posing as a tea shop owner and killing its customers. Location: Tokyo, Japan Madness: Increase 15% Posts: 10 Chance of Success: 85% Word Reward: 600
Etc. Once again, these are just example so you can look at the layout.
