Is it just me, or is this guild completely dead most of the time? I am all for guilds, I love them in an -ideal- sense, but if this thread does not pick up that will make it the second gaming guild I have been part of that died, and the fourth or fifth guild in general.
How can we pick up the activity here? We need to get this going, because great ideas should never have to die due to negligence.

I've been trying my best to combat the situation for a while now, but it only produces momentary gains. I'm being as active as I can on the forums and send out invitations for more people to come in with hopes of attracting more active posters.
I was kind of hopeful when I was informed that guild thread replies and quotes will be part of the notice system once more that activity will slowly pick up. It just seems to me that most of the people in this guild love to lurk, forgot they were actually even a part of this guild, can't find any topics they are generally interested in, or would rather post in the VGD forum.
I'm trying my best to remedy this situation and the only thing I can do is hope things turn around if I continue to persist in what I'm already doing. I would love to hear some ideas for increasing activity as well.

Your efforts are just fine, and seem pretty well done so far, but... only a handful of people putting effort into bringing this thing to life is hardly enough. Other users here need to WANT to be active, and WANT activity.

The trick to that is actually very Catch-22... to get people wanting to be active? You need activity. Nothing else really inspires... activity. Lmao
